We stayed 5 nights in the Stokkiesdraai house on the Farm Knoetzie Kamma. Both my wife and I can't get enough of the fantastic few days we spent there. From the sheep that bleated around the house in the morning to the call of the osprey that also occurs there, everything was simply perfect. We would very much like to go there again one day for a nice holiday.

What an absolutely amazing hidden gem! The location is fantastic, and the accommodation at Plaas Knoetzie Kamma is gorgeous. The shower is lovely. Our 8-year-old had an absolute blast. Waking up to sheep grazing around you is an amazing experience as well. We were also allowed to take our mini schnauzer, and she had the time of her life too.
The accommodation is clean and very nice. The owners are always available and happy to help. The children enjoyed the planes taking off and landing.

Very peaceful and just what we needed.
My partner and I had a lovely getaway escape from the city weekend. The open-plan self-contained apartment room is spacious, comfy and clean. Early morning breakfast on our private balcony affording a view over the sheep grazing on our doorstep, across the farm and down to the dam.
I would only put dark blinds on the top window (even though the pane is slightly darkened). Some people leave their porch lights on and this can bother others.
We enjoyed our stay here. This place was the cleanest and dust free guest house that I ever stayed in. The place is very practical and the battery backup for the TV, Wi-Fi and lights is very useful during loadshedding.

I would have preferred if there was someone to meet and greet you and to show you around. It was not nice just to get a key in a box and have to figure yourself out to the house. Not much of a hospitality, I would say. Other than that, I enjoyed my stay.

Upon arriving at our unit, we realized that we needed to book another night immediately. Daleen was immediately accommodating and was able to extend our stay. The house is beautiful, big, painfully neat, pure white percale bedding, the softest towels. Lovely kitchen, large bathroom, lovely living room and a fireplace that we lit early every evening. A lovely barbecue area is outside and very affordable dry wood can be bought from the owners. The view from the house over the pond is picturesque and calming. Children had a great time cycling and walking and we didn't have to worry if they were safe. I can 100% recommend the place to anyone with children who needs a break and just wants to relax. . We only stayed one night in one of the rooms after attending a function on a nearby farm. The rooms are newly built, modern and tidy. Furthermore, they are equipped with everything needed, even for longer stays. Daleen is a wonderful hostess who is in contact all the time from booking to check-in. We can't wait to go back next month and stay a few nights in one of the cottages. We can really highly recommend Knoetzekama, especially for those who like the silence and tranquility of a farm. Then there is also the beautiful view from the stoepies, and all the fresh farm smells.

Wish we didn't have to leave that beautiful farm. The owners are amazing too, very inviting and take the Covid Regulations extremely seriously. If we needed anything we could just w app the owner, but at the same time if you are just keen to be left alone and not bothered it is the perfect place to stay. Absolutely perfect, we didn't want to leave. Quiet and chilled, but the kids had more than enough to entertain themselves! We chilled at the lovely dam most of the time and taught the kids to fish. They loved swimming in the dam too and chatting up the cows and sheep too! It is super close to George for shopping and down the road from the airport. Spotlessly clean, unexpected Wi-Fi which was great and even DStv. Honestly, Knoetzekama is highly recommended for everyone, single, couples, family with children. I we could work remotely we would move in there!
We initially had a problem with the bedding and the room was not ready when we arrived around 14:30. However, the problem was solved and we had a very nice stay in the modern, new little apartment. Because the apartments are built against each other, the movement of people in the corridors and noise can create a problem for other residents. In general, everyone respected each other and the visit was very pleasant. However, the views from the balcony on the mountains and farm surroundings are beautiful.

We spent 4 days, 3 nights, at the farm and absolutely loved it! Cottage was clean and had all the creature comforts we needed and unexpected extras! Even though it was really cold, the inside fireplace worked wonderfully and heated the cottage. Fishing was great - hubby caught a few large bass. We'll definitely go back. Our family really enjoyed our stay. The unit is spacious and has a nice patio. Everything was neat and clean and the nice braai wood was very welcome. However, the cutlery needs attention and some of the items need to be replaced. Peaceful getaway, away from the hustle and bustle. Would recommend it.
I think one toilet for 5 big people and a child is too little. If the toilet wasn't in the bathroom, it might work. Apart from the one toilet, one can find nothing wrong with Knoetzekama as a holiday destination. Nice farm atmosphere.
We spent 2 nights here. The unit is extremely tidy, looks newly redone and is well laid out. You can relax in front of the fireplace when it's cold outside. It's nice and quiet and we enjoyed staring at the birds on the pond. We drove the Powervan in George on Saturday, and it was one of the highlights of our holiday.

Two cottages comprise 2 bedrooms, a lounge area, a bathroom fitted with a shower, and a kitchen fitted with a fridge, microwave, stove, and oven. The third cottage comprises a bedroom, a bathroom fitted with a shower, and a kitchen fitted with a fridge, microwave and stovetop.
Knoetzie Kamma Rooms is furnished with a double bed and a single bed, and can accommodate 2 adults and 1 child up to the age of 12 and an en-suite bathroom with a shower.
Other facilities include a TV with DStv, WiFi, a kitchenette with basic heat and eat facilities which include a bar fridge and a microwave.
