Be prepared for stairs, lots of stairs. Perfect room, perfect view. Just a pity our request to not service the room was not honoured. Otherwise, good.

The room was a bit cramped. They have plugged a tiny fridge on a round table with only one leg in a corner of the room where there is already a push trolley with the kettle and coffee. If the fridge is opened, the round table wants to fall over or the fridge slides off the round top which is too small. I believe that for the price that is paid, they can at least practice something better. Furthermore, there is a car port just below Manor House. I don't know if it's an after-hours issue, but the noise lasted until the early hours of the morning. One morning at 04:00 the police came out with loudspeakers. Not to mention the road noise on the main street a block from the house. I feel like we spent thousands of rand to get there and get through it all.
The hostess and staff were very friendly and dedicated. The rooms were wonderfully spacious and well equipped, would stay there again anytime. Safe parking and plenty of space was a bonus.

It was fantastic! The only issue I had was regarding the listed "serviced daily", as the bedding was not changed on the 2 days I was there - so if you can just change it daily, it would be nice. Definitely will be coming back.

Knysna Manor House is a beautiful old building with a friendly landlady and very neat rooms and bathrooms. The breakfast was off the books, and it is very centrally located. We walked to the waterfront. Our stay there was very nice and it is highly recommended, we will definitely spend the night there again.
