The guesthouse is approximately 450 km from Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth) and another 330 km from Cape Town. It is therefore ideal as a stop-over for guests travelling between these cities or alternatively for guests seeking a quiet weekend getaway far from the hustle and bustle of the city.
There are 4 double en-suite rooms, and none are equipped for self-catering. Each of the rooms has a separate entrance. Rooms 1, 2 and 3 are connected to a shared veranda which forms part of the main house. Of the 4 rooms, 3 have either 2 single beds or a king-size bed with an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower. Room 4 has a double bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower. Room 5 has a single bed and either 2 additional single beds or a king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with a dressing area, seating area and outside patio.
The beds are made up of percale linen and hypoallergenic pillows and duvet inners. Soft fluffy throws and warm blankets, fresh towels, complimentary toiletries as well as a well-stocked tea and coffee tray are also provided.
The rooms are kept cool in summer with ceiling fans and in winter with wall heaters.
As none of the rooms are self-catering, there is an on-site burger and breakfast dining area. This casual dining area is the central point of the guesthouse where guests come to relax and enjoy sundowners on the deck whilst taking in the view of the spectacular Dwarsrivier Valley.
For dinner, the guesthouse serves its famous homemade gourmet burgers ranging from beef to kudu, and chicken to vegan. Other meals are also available by prior arrangement. The breakfast is highly rated and boasts fresh fruit in summer plus an English breakfast with real filter coffee, throughout the year.
Koedoeskloof is ideally situated in an area that is easily accessible by car or dual-sport motorcycle. It is the perfect destination to explore the Klein Karoo region.
This guesthouse is off-road motorcycle-friendly.

Most beautiful view. Nice food. Friendly welcome. Very neat. Will definitely stay there again.
Very nice stay, friendly reception!
A very enjoyable stay. Delicious burgers served in the restaurant. Spent a lovely evening around the fire. Owners are very friendly and helpful.
The owners came to meet us at the gate - their hospitality is unbeatable. They made us dinner (the most delicious burgers but hopelessly too much food). Eugene gave us lots of information about the different routes we could take - well worth a chat with him. The room was neat and clean - the view from our room window was fairytale beautiful. Would love to stay there again anytime.
Friendly reception and lovely place to visit.
A real guesthouse. We felt immediately happy to be there. We stayed only one night, traveling through (not route 62) but would recommend at least 2 nights. Not because there is much to do, but to enjoy the views and tranquillity. And the burgers are really magnific!
Eugene and Debbie really went out of their way - they even got up at 6 am on Saturday morning with breakfast, because we had to leave early to ride the 7Weekspoort MTB. Breakfast and dinners were delicious and I can highly recommend the Kudu hamburger. The guest house has beautiful views of the mountains and there are nice and safe walking routes.
We only spent one night here. Eugene and Debbie are fantastic! Nice food! Beautiful view over the vineyards and Towerkop. Comfortable and neat rooms! We will definitely stay here again!
I found the establishment to be very clean and neat. The food was great, clean bedding, hot shower and a wonderful stay.
My husband and I enjoyed the stay at Koedoeskloof. The rooms are very tidy and the bedding is lovely to sleep in. We had a very good night's rest and the environment was quiet. Just what we hoped for. The breakfast was excellent for two nights. There is not much privacy because all three rooms are located next to each other.
A wonderful place to unwind. Well worth the short drive from the hustle and bustle of Ladismith. Our room was very comfortable. Beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. Eugene and Debi went out of their way to make us feel at home. We will definitely stay here again when in the area!
Baie nice en rustige plek.
Beste in die Klein Karoo.
Country hospitality and charm!
We were kindly received and welcomed. Very nice place to relax and break away from city life. There is little/no cell phone signal which was perfect for us. With few lights in the area, this is a great spot for stargazing! Will definitely go back! Great food too!
We were received very kindly. The room is beautiful and everything you need. The breakfast was also delicious.
Would highly recommend. Friendly welcome by Eugene and Debbie. Ice cold beer and delicious food. Would love to go again.
Attractively situated along R62 in beautiful surroundings. Very peaceful place. We regret we couldn't stay longer than only one day. We appreciated the personal contact with the owners and other guests of Koedoeskloof highly!
It's a safe, beautiful place with friendly reception and good food. It is well located for lovely day trips.
Beautiful place, but remote. Good care by the friendly owners. Good advice on routes to follow!
