Almost all the campsites have mostly shade. All the stands have electrical points and the ablution facilities have hot water and flushable toilets. The water is supplied by a borehole and is safe for human consumption.
Firewood, fire-pit logs, and ice are available to purchase on-site. A braai and rubbish bin is provided for each site, which is cleaned and replaced daily for guests. Although the main campsite is close to the main house, guests still have their privacy.
We are situated within the game reserve with animals all around for nature lovers to enjoy the sounds of nature and recharge your soul with the calling of the free-roaming lions, jackals, and hyenas. Dinokeng Game Reserve is a beautiful reserve and is conveniently located only 45 minutes drive from Pretoria.
Game Viewing permits can be obtained per vehicle on the self-drive game route. Animals such as kudu, zebra, impala, ostrich, blesbok, blouwildebees, waterbuck, rooihartbees, buffalo, giraffes, elephant, lion, cheetah, leopard, warthog and many small game and birds roam freely in the reserve.

We were a large group with small children, older children, adults and a grandma and grandpa and had a great time camping and watching wildlife. Kuduesrus Forest Camp is very well located and the Forest Camps have good shade. There is a swimming pool which is very small, but nice to cool off.

We had a lovely time at Koedoesrus. The campsite was well-maintained, and the owners were very friendly and helpful! The location is superb, directly on the self-drive route, so you can go directly on the drive first thing in the morning.
Nice campsite, as I like it, in the forest, silence and only the lions roaring and jackals howling. Very helpful and nice, ablutions help with the "out-of-the-city" feeling and really enjoyed the open air shower etc. Will camp here again, my type of camp!
Nice camping. Understandably very dry and dusty time of year. The road there is not too beautiful and must be taken slowly with a caravan.

The camp is tidy and the owners are friendly and helpful. We saw more wildlife inside the camp than when driving around the reserve. The water in the showers was deliciously hot. It fits the description of a forest/nature camp.
We had a great time in the forest. The children really enjoyed hearing all the sounds of the wild animals in the evening.

One will never be able to rest there. There are more thorns than sand. The dirt road is impassable with a caravan. It is very peaceful.

I've been coming to Koedoesrus Bush Camp ever since September 2021, and it's always a pleasure coming here. It's the perfect therapy for stress, and to come and recharge. I love it here.
Safe and malaria free area.
Very neat site with friendly and helpful owners. The regular camps as well as the forest camps are well equipped. Kudusrus is perfect for those who just want to relax and enjoy nature. Very beautiful stars and the milky way, and just saw four satellites the second night, as well as zebra and goats that walked right by the fence, as well as heard foxes the second night.
The owners are incredibly helpful. Loved the bush camp but the game was rare. Nice place to just relax.
Toilets and showers do not have doors. It can be improved for safety, especially for the ladies.
Very friendly and considerate, would definitely go there again.
It was very convenient to stay in the large self-catering house on the campsite. The electric blankets were a big plus, and there was always hot water when you showered.
We had a great time staying at Kuduesrus. The places are well looked after and meet everything you need when you want to get away for a weekend.

Our welcome was good. Camping pitches neat. Unfortunately there was not 1 time cleaned in any ablution block and we stayed 3 nights. Hardly want to go again.
Friendly, helpful service. We really enjoyed it, even though the weather and rain didn't cooperate. It was lovely to just experience calm and quiet, with night sounds and no noise.
It's a wonderful place for relaxation.
Kudusrus is a peaceful resort.
Wessie is very pleasant and makes you feel at home. He goes out of his way to make the time enjoyable. The few kilometers of corrugated iron road with a caravan is uncomfortable, but it is not Kuduesrus' fault.
You are so close to the forest. Access is easy and convenient. It is not a big resort with many facilities. If you want to experience the forest this is just the place.
We were welcomed in a very warm way and were assisted in getting onto game drives which really help us to relax without any concerns.

Me and my dog-child enjoyed it tremendously. I would recommend the place to anyone who loves nature, looking for tranquility and space for your four-legged children. Aunt Jenny and Uncle Dirk - they were very hospitable and helped where needed.

Koedoesrus is situated in the heart of Dinokeng, saw lots of game all around the camp. The flat is comfortable with all the necessities. We had a great time.
Aunt Jenny was like a mother to us all and went out of her way to accommodate us, even providing medicine when some of the children fell ill. We will definitely go back to Kudusrus next year with the school ringball tournament, The tame kudus and lions we could hear at night was a big bonus.
Was an excellent getaway for a weekend.
Thank you for the hospitality. We enjoyed the quietness, not too far from the city. We were able to work undisturbed. The plus was that our dog child could come along.
A really great weekend away spot. Jenny and Dirk are wonderful hosts and make you feel right at home. The setup is beautiful, clean and well kept. Some of the best game viewing was from our camp chairs right in front of our tent and although we didn't see lions we heard them roaring very close by one night . Koedoesrus is also fairly central in the park giving easy access to most of the self-drive route. We will definitely be back.

I wouldn't like to share the flat with other people - I like privacy in own family dynamics. But because we were there all by ourselves, all the facilities were just ours to use and it was lovely!
