Great West Coast experience.
Apartment is clean, tidy and tasteful. Good quality bedding, nice warm blanket for the cold and well equipped with everything needed. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend it.
Quiet, clean, tidy, safe, a lot to see if you like untouched nature.
We stayed for 2 days in a very nice, clean place with 2 bedrooms, a kitchen, bathroom and braai area. We were welcomed very friendly by Marthie and the booking was easy. The weather was also nice and sunny we had a very good rest with family. Thank you, we love it. We will recommend it and it's of high standards.
The living areas and kitchen were quite small even for just two adults although we coped enough to be able to make a meal or two. The flatlet may be uncomfortable for more people than this, especially in winter. Not sure whether potential guests should be aware of this. But otherwise, it was a lovely stay.
Value for money with good location. Within walking distance of the sea and located in a very quiet cul-de-sac.
No power outages was a winner! Sound of waves when sitting on the porch was so relaxing and beautiful.

Very neat. Slept well. Space very limited. Well equipped. Walking distance to beach among the beautiful flowers. Just wasn't comfortable with the 2 boerboles on the plot.

I was surprised by the kindness of the two boerboel aunties who tolerated my Yorkies so much and were never angry with them. The unit was very nice and well furnished. Everything was so clean and tidy and our hostess made us feel special. Marthie, thank you very much it was very nice.
The accommodation is good. Very good location. Hostess very helpful and friendly. There were also nice rusks, tea, coffee and sugar put out for us. It is nice, because sometimes one forgets those basic things. Lovely and quiet in the night with the sea lulling you to sleep.
Expected a freestanding unit a bit bigger but it was very clean and had everything we needed. Welcoming host.

Very friendly welcome and Marthie was always there if we needed or wanted to ask something. We had a great stay and felt safe. The single beds which are a rarity at other accommodation places were a bonus for us as friends. We only had a problem with the WiFi which could only be found in the master bedroom and only if you are in a certain position with a mobile phone. It was only about two bars strong, which was quite bad when you don't have any more data and it's the end of the month. Would have liked a larger mirror near power plug in master bedroom. It's quite something I've experienced in most accommodation places that women and hairdryers are not provided for.

It was our first visit to Jacobs Bay and certainly not the last.
It was better than expected.
There weren't any sheets of pillow cases for a single bed. The agent was aware that my son would sleep there, as all information was given in advance. The kitchen equipment was skimpy - no salad of mixing bowls, long glasses, large bowls, dish cloths, small towels in the kitchen. Contacted the agent for bedding, but got no answer. Definitely not value for money.
Had a great time, Martie made so much effort. Appreciate it. The place is a delight!

Koekemakranka is a neat, modern house/apartment with a beautiful sea view over Jacobs Bay. Good value for money and animal friendly owners.
There is no place to just sit and relax. Just sit in your room at night or sit at the kitchen table.
