Thank you very much for a weekend filled with beautiful memories and a special request for our mother that you did not hesitate to carry out for us. Getting to Rus is back on our bucket list. This is where you can kick off your shoes and breathe in the clean air. The house is comfortable and well equipped.
Beautiful spacious house. The full bathrooms and large freezer make a visit really comfortable. Pool so nice and clean. Communication from day 1 excellent. Monia is super awesome! A thousand thanks, will definitely use your house again.

Come to Rest is the ideal place to stay to enjoy Mabalingwe's animals and peaceful atmosphere. Big highlight was the 6 elephants who stopped by one evening right at the front porch. What an experience! The other daily animal visitors and birds that dropped by also provided great entertainment. We were treated to a bottle of wine and provided with all the information we needed to make our visit go smoothly. They even made sure we had a safe and enjoyable visit after the unexpected thunderstorm. We recommend booking with Kom tot Rus if you are looking for a quiet and safe break that is value for money!

The outdoor recreation area is private and we lacked nothing in the house. Roof fans that work during load shedding have been a wonderful boon. The pool is perfect for cooling off in the heat. Despite the fact that you could see everyone still scrambling around trying to repair the damage caused by the fires, the staff at Mabalingwe were friendly and helpful. Our host and hostess, Kobus and Monia, were available at all times and certainly made sure that our visit went without any problems. We will definitely visit here again.
The owners, Kobus and Monia, were excellent with the information they sent us and in making us feel at home. The accommodation was ready before the check-in time, although there was load shedding during our stay, the solar system ensured that we did not even notice it. The complimentary bottle of red wine was a pleasant and enjoyable surprise!

All information needed was sent in advance, questions via WhatsApp were answered within 1 hour, located walking distance from the shop and children's entertainment and environment very quiet. Refund of crockery deposit was made immediately after departure.
We visited and rested a lot. Come to rest is a beautiful place with everything you need. Everything is very neat, clean and in working order. The animals that often come to say hello at the barbecue were a bonus and the children really enjoyed it. Monia the hostess made sure that everything was perfect and the communication was great. We will definitely rest again at Come to Rest!

Kom Tot Rus is the ideal getaway house in the woods and fully equipped, with more than one would expect. The solar system makes the accommodation load shedding free. The house is very neatly maintained and the boma, built-in braai and swimming pool provide a holiday atmosphere in the forest. The animals come to visit all the time. The owners provide all the necessary information and service throughout and make sure that guests feel very welcome and informed. The unit is a gem and will most likely be used by us again.
This is a beautiful, well-appointed home in the boomed-off area of Elephant Lodge. The bonus feature of this property - is the solar panels & inverter, you are not even aware of stage 6 load shedding! It's a beautiful home, with comfortable beds, large bathrooms, and a nice outdoor braai area next to the pool with a view of the veld. There is a small waterhole in front of the home so animals come by regularly. We saw Njalas, Warthogs, Banded Mongoose families, Guinea Fowl, Francolins, Monkeys, a family of Bushpigs, and even a large Genet. The friendly owners are also a definite plus and I can definitely recommend this property.
Unexpected great find! Everything you need including solar back up on a weekend stay as an added plus. Well equipped and very neat house, walking distance from swimming pool, putt putt and small shop. Salt blocks and water hole next to the unit/house, many animals seen from the boma in the evening, even a hippopotamus! Strong Wi-Fi. Monia was wonderful and very helpful. First of all, thanks to Monia and Kobus' hospitality and continuous helpfulness. Come to Rest was very well furnished and nice to visit, everything works and is in order. Come to Rus was clean and tidy as we like it and definitely a special destination. The elephants also made their appearance and made for a wonderful experience. We will visit again soon.

I have already shared with the owners our satisfaction with everything. Come to Rest can definitely be recommended. There have been surprisingly few wildlife visits to the area, but I was previously at another unit in Elephant Lodge, where a lot more animals came to "visit"!
