11 guests' feedbackIt was a bit difficult to find, but once the owner sent us a pin location, it was easy. It is a very small chalet with bunk beds. The mosquito nets provided did not really make sense because they could not cover the whole bed. The fan is a bit old and makes noises. The dogs barked continuously throughout the night, and the rooster woke us before sunrise. We did not expect more for the price, but small things could improve the stay.
It was nice and we had everything we needed. The water situation can only be looked at, because we had no water to shower on Sunday morning. We had a sofa bed that we bumped our heads against every time you wanted to use the bathroom. I would have preferred the 2 single beds as in the photos.
The dishes were dirty and had to be washed before they could be used.
Firstly, the key was left under the carpet, list of instructions on the wall, power was out and had to arrange for power, place was neglected, geyser was probably set to 20 degrees so cold water for shower, no owner or help on site, dogs and chickens all the time around and in the house, sawmill next to the cottage. And so I can go on.
"I came, I saw, I left".
The fishing spot was perfect. The owner of the beautiful place was so kind and very helpful. This is the perfect spot for two people wanting to break away. I would definitely stay here again. I am looking forward to coming back here.

Good fishing and nature.
Room is small but has everything we needed. Very nice view of the Komarie River. Fishermen will enjoy the place.
A tragic affair for a braai, it seems that the drain was flushed because dirty nappies and the like are lying on the lawn. We would like to stay here again should we find ourselves in the Komatipoort area.
No electricity when we got there in the dark. Had to phone owner to send by phone. She is in Cape Town. Window could not close, handle broken off.
