16 guests' feedbackWe stayed at Kommetjie 24 and it was absolutely what we needed. We were a stone's throw away from the beach. The house itself was clean, neat and complete. I must say having an inverter in the house made our holiday even more pleasant. We felt safe with the security guards walking around the Kom. We're definitely going back! 5 stars for Kommetjie 24!
Kommetjie is a lovely, secure house which has everything you need, even on cold days. It is a stone's throw from the beach and the views are beautiful. The inverter during loadshedding was a bonus!

It would be nice if the kitchen can have some plastic containers/utensils. Otherwise, everything else was fine.
Lovely place. Well equipped with backup electricity. Most excellent view from the veranda. The alarm setup is not very convenient as the cottage and main house share an alarm system.
Everything needed was provided. The customer service was excellent - the gate would not close - it was attended to immediately. The electricity tripped a few times - the electrician arrived within 10 minutes and resolved the issue.
The view, the place itself and especially with loadshedding when all power was on, was great for us.
Might suggest having a pot scrubber to clean pots. Maybe an extra roll of toilet paper per bathroom.

Definitely worth the money. Beautiful views, neat and comfortable. Lots do to. Restaurants are in walking distance. Weekend is much too short. I will definitely be returning with my family.
There was a few things we expected to find for this price range to see with regards to kitchenware that needs to be seen to. Proper glasses and 8 of each would suffice. Otherwise all good.
On arrival, the alarm was an issue but it was sorted out.
It has 180 degree sea views with the most beautiful outdoor barbecue and socializing area. We enjoyed our stay at Kommetjie so much and will return with love! The people of Kommetjie had been incredibly helpful and friendly. The house is beautiful with a fitted kitchen and nice large bathrooms. The house is truly one of the nicest we have ever stayed in.
Everything was perfect, I would have liked to check out just a little later, 10 hours is hopelessly too early.
Had a wonderful time with family from far away. Very neat and nice house. One night someone put their hand into the room window to try to get in and my mom's bed was by the window. But the rest was great.

The balance is payable 7 days prior to arrival.No check-ins or check-outs are offered on Good Friday, Christmas Day or New Year's Day
Key- and breakage deposit:
Key- and breakage deposit is payable with the deposit for the booking and refundable by bank transfer within 5 - 7 working days after departure, once the house has been scrutinised and all found in order. Please note that the key deposit will be retained and additional charges imposed if more guests than booked are found to be utilising the premises. Please furnish us with your banking details on arrival. Keys will not be handed over under any circumstances unless the key and breakage deposit has been received.
Minimum stay required:
2 nights in low and mid-season
3 nights over long weekends
4 nights over Easter weekend
7 nights in high season
Guests must first visit our offices to check in and get their keys.
When entering Paternoster, turn left at the four-way stop. The 'Stay in Paternoster' office is situated about 75m further, on the right-hand side of the road, at 87 St. Augustine Road.
