We could hear full cell phone conversation of the lady in adjoining room. Blinds in front of bathroom are broken and window does not have fluted glass. Breakfast was not great. The positive references are for previous owner?
We struggled all day to get hold of management to let them know we might be late. Upon arrival we were taken to our rooms. First thing we notice are all the cobwebs in the lights and behind the TV. My daughter had trouble sleeping. WiFi is advertised but the code was not given to us. We couldn't contact them to ask so I had to turn on my own WiFi. We had clean towels but no extra toilet paper. We understand that the drivers are still new, but the points above are a backbone for them to improve upon.

The reception was good and friendly, the room was clean. Old neighborhood next to a church. The guest house is run by the church. The breakfast was very disappointing. 2 Eggs, 2 strips of bacon, toast and juice. Just that, no cereal, fruit, yogurt. We felt a bit unsafe, no guards or control. But the place was spotless.

Arrived at 2:35 pm. No one available to receive me. After 3 phone calls, at vet appointment for dog. Went away. 2 hours later. 2 phone calls again. Voice mail. Eventually opened gate. No breakfast was served. Was told about wifi. But no password was given. No bar fridge. 2 single hard beds. 2 hard pillows. Did not sleep the 2 nights.
Friendly staff and more than sufficient parking. I enjoyed my stay, almost like home. The room was better than the picture.
This was our second time staying here. What a pleasure to come here after the long journey and to be received so kindly. Breakfast the next day was outstanding. Will continue to recommend this beautiful overnight stay to everyone. If I come back in the direction this is for sure where I will spend the night again.

With my business trips, WiFi is very important and I get irritated when I struggle with it. The WiFi was excellent and fast. The room was very neat with comfortable pillows, a decent TV and channels to choose from. And there is air conditioning which is very important in Kimberley. The hospitality was excellent. An example of this is my breakfast and lunch (payable separately). I had a delicious, filling breakfast and paid for a take away lunch. Both were prepared with care and the lunch was neatly packed and I could eat it while driving. Very well planned meal. I can highly recommend it.

Komrus welcomed me with open arms. Check-in time is 14h00 but I already checked in at 11h00 without any problem or that I had to pay more.

Rooms clean. Except the run up to the rooms which are dirty and construction debris which doesn't make it look so good.
Owners are very hospitable and room is clean and tidy. Delicious breakfasts and effort was made to make us good food packages when we left early. On larger premises with other activities and children so guests just need to be aware of that in advance. Streets around in bad condition, which is not the guest house's fault, but creates a bit of a bad image of the area when entering.

Optional dinner was tasty. Komrus is conveniently located near the main route from Hopetown to Warrenton. The setup is small, which suits me well. The rooms are well equipped and very tidy and I made use of the communal fridge. I would have liked to cool off in a pool as the outside temperature was close to 40 °C, but the room's air conditioning was a good alternative. We pre-arranged for the optional dinner. I prefer to eat on site after a 10 hour drive and not go looking for a place to eat somewhere in a strange city. Komrus' environment is peaceful and it was just what I needed.
I went on a motorbike tour and had to stay over at Kimberley. I was warmly welcomed with a glass of cold water during a heat wave and the air-conditioner in my room was already switched on. It made me feel at home. Lovely breakfast!
I booked two rooms, one with 2 single beds and one with a double bed. We were put in a family unit with 2 double beds. With 2 teenage sons it was awkward. The TV/DStv did not work in double bed room. Air conditioning in this room also needs attention.

We could only fall asleep after 12 because of the noise. There is a hot water problem. I was in the shower when the water turned boiling without warning. The rooms are not soundproof and every movement on either side is heard. Contractors who live here semi-permanently are a problem as they are noisy and don't rest until after midnight.

We recommend they look at the sound as the TV next door, but the rest of the facility and the people are excellent.
Komrus is apparently located near a skating rink and it was terribly noisy until about 3am the next morning. I don't know if this is a regular thing, but we slept little.
For almost R300 you only have a small room, not a veranda and you can hear everything that the people next door say and do in the other rooms. The breakfast is served in the church hall and is served very early. I would say the price should be R150 or R200 for what you get because R300 is a bit expensive.
