16 guests' feedbackVery cozy and full of character fisherman's cottage. Everything you need and more. Well positioned, within walking distance to most restaurants and the beach. Bathrooms are a bit small, but it works. WiFi needs to be sorted out; it is not available in all areas.
Lovely quaint cottage. Pool and outside shower/foot wash were wonderful. Beds were comfortable, everything worked, although it took MacGyver tactics to open the crockery cupboard. Everything available for a self-catering experience. The supplies (dish liquid, toiletries, etc.) were more than enough for 4 days. Although the manual on the table warned us to be security conscious, we only read it after my friend's cell phone was stolen off the table outside on the first evening. On the 3rd evening, her leather cigarette holder/wallet was taken off the table when she went inside for a second. I would suggest a permanent notice on the table warning people, as the table is so close to the road. They opened the gate both times they stole, but never closed it.
I would do it in a heartbeat again.

It is a lovely place and the atmosphere is very nice by the sea and as a family the children really enjoyed it.
Basic amenities, just enough for a weekend getaway. The security gate's lock was a bit difficult to unlock. It should be given oil to unlock easily.
This is definitely one of our favorite places to just get away. I really think my husband got about 8 good hits to the head at the front door. That was the only negative thing - otherwise everything was perfect.

Really enjoyed our time spent in Paternoster. Komyntjie is very cosy and the people in Paternoster are very friendly. Will definitely visit Paternoster again. Beach is less than a minute's walk away from Komyntjie 1.
Ons het dit vreeslik geniet. Alles wat jy nodig het en meer. Mal oor die private braai- en kuierarea onder die boom. Asook die groot kaggel/braai binne vir die koel aande. Perfekte ligging.
Thank you very much for a very nice stay. Komyntjie 1 does not have a sea view, but is only a 50 m walk from the beach and nicely central in the town. The microwave didn't work, but that didn't bother us much. A recommendation is to move the TV to the living area. If you visit there especially in the winter and there is sport on TV, it is more convenient to have it on instead of having to watch it in the bedroom every time.
"Charming", full of character, "rustic", intimate, "cozy" - a place where you can have a good time! Just watch your head when you walk in the front door!

We had a very nice holiday in Komyntjie 1. It's a nice place that is very well located. It's walking distance from the beach and restaurants. The children really enjoyed being so close to the beach. One bad point was that the floors were not very clean. It's full of dust and long hair.
I will go again.

No check-ins or check-outs are offered on Christmas Day or New Year's Day.The balance of the booking is to be paid 3 days before arrival.
This unit may only accommodate the number of guests as specified on the booking invoice at any given time.
No loud music after 22:00.
No parties on the property, management reserves the right to evict tenants that do not adhere to this rule.
Kindly note that we do not have the authorization to do credit card payments on behalf of guests, we only accept EFT/Bank transfers.
A R 650.00 key and breakage deposit is payable on arrival and is refundable within 7-14 working days, after the house has been inspected and all found in order. Keys will not be handed over under any circumstances without full payment received.
DStv can be activated at the cost of R 25.00 per day.
There is a pet fee of R250 for up to 2 dogs per house. No more than 2 dogs at a time.
