We only stayed for one night to experience Prince Albert and drive back over the Swartberg Pass. Koppie Cottage is very fully equipped, and although there are too many restaurants that one also wants to try, one can comfortably even have a barbecue at Koppie Cottage. Bed was very comfortable, like rest of Cottage.
A lot of effort has been made to make it beautiful and comfortable. There were even little machines for if the mosquitoes bothered. Aunt left us milk and biscuits. Thank you very much!

We were pleasantly surprised, because Koppie Cottage is even more beautiful than what can be seen in the photos. Nothing was missing, Rene thought of everything. We were hoping for alternate power during load shedding, but since we were only staying there for one night, it didn't matter.

All you need. Place is next to the main house with a private entrance. Braai area is just not private (in photos it looks like it is). Blanket on the bed in the summer time and not a duvet, but there are extra blankets. We were visited by the owner the following Christmas Day morning - Would only advise welcoming guests when they check in to respect privacy during their time there.
Lovely small unit. Restricted cooking facilities but OK for basic breakfast. No special loadshedding measures but there is a rechargeable light No wi-fi during loadshedding. Lovely quiet courtyard at the rear. Parking good.

We really enjoyed our stay at Koppie Cottage - extremely clean, tidy and stylishly furnished. Great attention to detail, well equipped kitchen, and good provision for load shedding and mosquito control. We had a wonderful time relaxing in the private braai area, and could appreciate the tranquility of the surroundings. René received us kindly and was always available, if needed. Close to a host of eateries and attractions. We will definitely come here again!

This was the second time we spent the night there. A very comfortable home with parking space in the shade at the door of the apartment. The braai facilities in the courtyard are also excellent. This time it was windy, which meant that mosquitoes were not a problem at all, but mosquito repellents and even mosquito nets over the beds (we never used) are provided.
Rene received us kindly. Accommodation is painfully neat.

Koppie Cottage has a charm of its own. The fine hand of a woman is clearly visible and there is everything you need. Bedding is impeccable. It is very private and peaceful with two porches where you can sit outside. I highly recommend Koppie Cottage and it's also nice to walk out on the koppie nearby.

We really enjoyed our stay, the unit is very well equipped, with a place for everything and everything in its place. It was spotlessly clean, and had a good feeling as you enter. It was quiet and peaceful, away from the busy main road, which was just what we had hoped for, but still within walking distance of everything. Highly recommend.

Our 4 day stay in Koppie Cottage was pure pleasure! The unit is particularly tastefully furnished (decor) with everything in the kitchen that may be needed. Lovely porch to sit outside and private braai area by other door exit. Swartberg Pass was breathtaking! Rene was very friendly and helpful and our visit there was wonderful. Nandi (our dog) really enjoyed the trips to the Koppie and was very happy that she could explore Prince Albert with us. Thank you Rene! Hope we can visit there again soon.
