We were greeted by the host who was friendly and such a people person. The room was lovely and very well equipped for a cold night in after a wedding. The bedding is stunning and warm, the bed is very comfortable, and the room very spacious. Our host let us book in earlier and even let us stay slightly later the following morning. It was wonderful! A great kids-free evening and great rest! Will definitely visit again when coming to a wedding!

We had a very nice stay, but the other guests who stayed there were a disturbance at 1 o'clock in the night. The man was apparently under the influence and fought with the woman, and doors were slammed from the bathroom and room.

In the heart of winter we slept nice and warm and had everything we needed.
Would definitely recommend Koraalboom to any person or family. They go to great lengths and think of everything you might need such as oil lamps and candles for power outages, fly poison, hairdryer, extra bedding and plenty of towels. Even yogurt, delicious biscuits and fresh milk in the fridge. Was in contact with me during the power outage to see if I was okay. So yes, very satisfied.
Only as an aid to the owner: the bar fridge makes noise throughout the night. Would prefer to have an en-suite bathroom.

The room was adequate, but the lack of anywhere to even clean mugs and dishes, and the lack of much choice in terms of restaurants in the town made catering a bit difficult. There was no braai or options for doing any light meals even in a shared kitchen and no cleaning cloths etc. So that may have been my fault in that I would have preferred self-catering and thought that because the room had a microwave and small fridge that this was an option. But otherwise it was good.
I'll consider using Koraalboom again. It is well located for access to neighbouring towns. For the owners - please can you oil all the door handles? They make quite a racket in an otherwise very quiet house. Finally - apologies for the delay in providing feedback.
Just the fact that we had to get out of our room to attend to the bathroom was a problem. The doors was also a nuisance, as it was squeaky. Owner of the house is very very nice and very visible. It was not nice to have walked into other guests.

All 3 rooms are part of the original house, which has been converted into self-catering units. Each has its own kitchenette, and shares the front door and hallway. Our Saturday night neighbors were aware of us, and we each kept our noise down. Another part of the house is permanently inhabited, but has a separate entrance. We were in Room 3. A sleeping area and semi-separate sitting/kitchenette area with a pull-out couch/bed. This room is larger than 1 and 2 but does not have an en suite. The bathroom is diagonally across the hall, and only for the use of Room 3. We had to make a working weekend out of our getaway weekend. Although there was no desk with a chair for the laptop, tables and an extension cord were provided, and we sat on the veranda in the sun and worked. Friday night a water pipe bursts, and there is no water in the taps. Soon jugs and buckets of water were brought, and we could take a shower in the main house. And then most importantly: your four-legged children are welcome! There is palisade fencing around the yard, and a security gate at the front door. Smaller breeds will be able to climb through the palisade. I would love to stay there again when I'm in the area.
Koraalboom is the ideal choice for persons who require overnight accommodation for attending a wedding or any other function in the area.
Host is pleasant and place is spotless.

We were very kindly received upon our arrival. The room met all our needs and more. There are very few places that offer you a variety of coffees in the room, for example. The bathroom was super clean and tidy. Thank you very much for a pleasant stay.

Coral tree Annex is so beautiful. The rooms are beautiful and there is a lot of attention to detail. It's very clean and safe. Owners also very friendly. We could sit on the veranda while the children could play outside. My husband was very happy about the filter coffee. Would definitely recommend it as a place to stay, would stay there again myself. Had a great stay there.
