My girlfriend and I had a great stay at Kothuis Frangipani! Hands down the best place we stayed at. The host was exceptional and the place was well-equipped and clean. If you're looking to escape the city, this is the ideal place.
Cottage Frangipani is a gem in the center of McGregor. The natural swimming pool provides wonderful relief after a hot day. a friendly, excellent hostess who goes out of her way to look after her guests. We would love to stay there again.
Me and my wife had an amazing time. I'll definitely go again. The people of McGregor are also very welcoming. 10/10.
Where do I even begin with a review for Kothuis Frangipani?! My girlfriend and I have been to many places but we both agree that Kothuis Frangipani is hands down the best. The accommodation is clean, safe and, more importantly, so cozy. We highly recommend this place as it has become, without a doubt, our favorite holiday accommodation. Our host was nothing short of amazing. Even though we never met her in person, as she was away, that did not deter her from making us feel welcome via messages. We were allowed to message her without feeling as though we were imposing, and she answered our questions as thoroughly as possible. We will definitely be back and will be recommending Kothuis Frangipani to our friends and family. Thank you!

What a great stay at Kothuis Frangipani! Mienke was an exceptional host and the place was well-equipped and clean. Everything you need to have a comfortable and memorable stay in McGregor. Would highly recommend it.
The cottage is ideal for 2 people, with everything you need. Okay, there was no microwave, but we managed very well. Meinke went out of her way to make sure that everything was okay, even to the extent of keeping in contact with us whilst she was out of town with her family. A very pleasant stay all around and a repeat visit is planned for the future.
We have one suggestion and that is to include some large serving spoons with the kitchen utensils. They are pet friendly and our labrador had an absolute ball. The garden is enclosed and very safe for pets.
The location couldn't be better, literally across the road from restaurant 51 and so close to everything else too. Lovely and private with beautiful garden. Fully fenced, so no worries about the pooch. Would definitely love to stay at Kothuis Frangipani again.
We had such a nice stay in McGregor and Mienke (hostess) is very cute and friendly and helpful. The cottage is well equipped with all the basic items you need. We were there with a 14 month old baby, as well as a dog and we really enjoyed it. We were able to switch off and just relax. The village is very cute, could walk and explore everywhere. I will definitely come again to unload in Frangipani. Thank you very much Mienke and Wim.
The cottage is very nicely furnished and in an ideal position in McGregor. The hosts, Mienke and Wim, make a lot of effort and communicate very well. Mienke went to great lengths to let us know all about the excellent local restaurants. Even when there was a problem with the hot water supply at the cottage (not their fault), they moved mountains to get us fixed soon. Our weekend in McGregor was lovely and very peaceful - we hope to be able to visit them again soon!
Me and my 2 dogs had a wonderful rest, the cottage is very well furnished and we didn't need anything. We will definitely go again!

We had a great stay, the host was wonderful. Only suggestion is to have extra pillows available for use, and also a small microwave in the kitchen would be great.
Was very warmly received. The cottage is tastefully furnished and very neat and clean. The pool is a lovely extra treat. Beautiful place for a peaceful weekend of relaxation.
I booked the stay for someone else, but they had a great time. It was my brother-in-law and his wife, they took a 24-month-old baby with them. Mienke was very friendly, and helpful with the suggestion to close the pool for their peace of mind. Thank you very much!
What an amazing place to spend a few quiet days at and be able to catch up on some well-needed rest at the end of 2022. Will be back.
