That one evening there were almost 70 blue cranes at the pond. This place to stay is an absolute must for anyone who likes comfort, silence and nature. Great!

We absolutely loved our stay here! We travelled for business but took the family with us considering it was over a weekend. The beautiful scenic views, coupled with clean, neat, and tidy accommodation, made our stay even more enjoyable. We will definitely be back!

Das Haus bietet alles, was man braucht und noch vieles mehr. Overall everything is sehr großzügig gestalt. Ungewöhnlich for us was that the Bar-/Aufenthalts-/Küchenbereich is not connected directly to the sleeping area, but can be reached only via the Umweg via the Outer Area. Dies may aber der Bezeichung "Lodge" geschuldet sein?. The kitchen equipment is fantastic - we didn't miss anything!. The Dusche verfütt neben einem Rainshower-Kopf auch über eine Handbrause - sehr selten in South Africa!. The beds were very comfortable. Due to the temperatures of 40°C and more, we have not used the Hot-Tub allerdings nur unbeheizt benzützt - dies dafür aber umso öfter. Da eine Verbindung zur Außenwelt nur über das (leister only very weak) WLAN möglich ist - we had neither Telephone nor mobile Dataverbindung - erreichte uns die WhatsApp Nachricht der Mieter zu einem 4-stündigen Stromaufall (no Load-shedding) am späten Freitagnachmittag unfortunately not. Since the Rezeption was not occupied at the time of this decision, we had to drive kurz vor das Aussentor, um telefonisch nachzufragen, was passiert ist. Für uns stellte dies keinen wirklichen Mangel dar - unerfahrene oder angstliche Gäste könnten hiermit aber ihre probleme haben. Personal information would be desirable.
We had a lovely, restful weekend. The gravel road was smooth and easy to drive, and it was not too far from the town. A lovely escape from the rat race. Rosanne is a wonderful hostess!

First of all, we were very late, if I remember correctly around 11:00 pm at night. Their phone was available all the way and they kindly awaited us upon our arrival on Friday evening. Clean, clean, clean, first class, kitchen, fridge, appliances, the best, literally. Bathrooms and showers, mercy, for the price, just do it and go see the stars and experience the silence. Safe I tell you. On your own, but not alone. I can't even talk about the bedding, the best, if I didn't have an early Monday morning meeting we would have slept another night, honestly we wanted to. Just one more night in that crisp, snow white, soft, best quality bedding. So many stars for you, as many as I could see above me out there in the still, dark night, so far more than I could see here. Go find your soul's rest at Kransplaas, but don't book less than 3 nights at least, it's wonderful. Somewhat close to town, but still out on the farm. Just press that button and don't wonder or search any further. Thank you beautiful people.
We had a great stay in the Springbok Cottage. There was load shedding but we hardly noticed because the cottage has an 'inverter' and a gas stove, it was fantastic. Lovely spacious, clean and very nicely equipped with more than you usually get in an overnight stay's kitchen. 2 bags of ice in the freezer and enough wood was provided. We were really impressed with the friendly service and how nice our stay was. Would recommend to anyone.
Picturesque Karoo farm with everything you need. From beautiful hiking trails to a nice braai and socializing area. They certainly didn't cut corners when it came to the contents of the cottage. Well done!
The peace and quiet was special and we had a nice barbecue and slept in the Springbok Cottage. They received us kindly and the wood, ice and delicious biscuits provided made us feel very much at home.

Rosanne was absolutely fantastic. She went out of her way to make my son's birthday special. She is definitely a "cut above". And Kransplaas is just incredible, quiet and peaceful with more than your heart desires. Just incredible.

Beds sleep very comfortably and the bathrooms are clean and functional. Braai places (there are a few to choose from at the house) are very nice and well equipped. The location is breathtakingly beautiful. There is nothing negative to say about our stay. I can highly recommend Kransplaas to anyone looking to stay in the area.
