Shongwe Ingwe, chalet 226a, can accommodate 6 adults and 2 children in 3 bedrooms. It is not suitable for 4 couples or 8 adults. The main bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed, an en-suite bathroom, built-in cupboards, a ceiling fan, and air-conditioning. It also has a door leading out onto the patio. The second bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed, built-in cupboards, air-conditioning and a ceiling fan, and the second bathroom, which is next to the second bedroom, is fitted with a shower, toilet and basin.
The kitchen is fully fitted with a fridge-freezer, stove and oven, microwave, dishwasher and a dining area. The lounge features a TV with DStv. This leads onto a large decked patio with built-in barbecue facilities.
The upstairs loft room is a spacious room sleeping 4 people in 2 single beds and a bunk bed. The en-suite bathroom has a shower, toilet and double basin. Upstairs also features a seating area with an additional TV, ceiling fans, and sliding doors leading out onto the balcony.

Place is peaceful and beautiful.
It was a trip for the books. The place was stunning. It was clean and better than described in the ad. The wildlife surrounding us made it even more special and the impalas were always visible to us.
Upstairs shower leaks through the roof to the kitchen. Freezer needs a drawer door. Outside wooden stairs need fixing. Otherwise, it was great.
Beautifully furnished, great service with book of chalet by agency and owner. Even emergency lights that help during "loadshedding" are very good. Can recommend to anyone who wants to holiday in Kruger Park Lodge. Beds comfortable and cleaning service great.
Very nice house. View was disappointing. The lapa outside has a view only of trees that were close to lapa. The TV signal is weak. The trees must be cut.

The upstairs toilet was leaking & the sewage dripped onto kitchen floor & down the wall. Kitchen stank of sewage. Torn sheet on bed in the second bedroom downstairs.

The house is well kept, the resort is peaceful and has a few bucks roaming free, close to the mall (CBD) and the security personnel is the best.
This was my first visit and I was very impressed by the layout, beautifully kept gardens and the excellent service.

Would not mind to go back there. There are lot of activities within the estate for those lazy days to go out. Next time I am taking my daughter with because, I have seen that she will enjoy herself as there is a very child-friendly play area as well as small pools for the little ones.

Swimming pool towels are no longer provided. Kindly bring your own.If the arrival is less than one month, then the full amount will be due at the time of making the booking.
The final payment will be due one month before arrival at the chalet.
Once full payment is received a confirmation letter with the reservation code will be sent to the guest, from the Shongwe Ingwe booking office. This confirmation letter must be presented to the hotel reception on arrival at the Kruger Park Lodge.
No refunds will be granted to guests who may check out before the actual departure date.
A minimum stay of 3 nights over any long weekend or public holiday in South Africa. Special requests may be considered according to availability.
Guests will be held responsible for any breakages or damages caused to the interior or exteriors of the property during the duration of your stay.
Report any equipment that is faulty or missing to the Shongwe Ingwe Booking office within 4 hours of arrival at the chalet.
No pets are allowed on the property of the Kruger Park Lodge.
No overcrowding will be allowed. Chalet, Shongwe Ingwe is suitable for 6 adults and 2 children. No more than 8 persons will be allowed to sleep in this chalet.
Rules and regulations as stipulated by the Management of the Kruger Park Lodge will be enforced.
It is important to know that this is a family and nature resort and not a party destination. The Management of the Kruger Park Lodge has a strict Code of Conduct and will not tolerate any noise between 19:00 and 07:00, parties or unruly behaviour due to the consumption of alcohol. Fines and eviction of guests may be imposed.
