48 guests' feedbackMy husband's 70th birthday - we enjoyed lots of privacy and relaxation. Love the place - so close to nature. Our 2nd time - will see you again.
Wonderful service and a pleasure to stay at. I will definitely be back again.
This is our third visit to this Lodge and certainly not our last. We enjoy every visit. The facilities are fantastic and the unit is comfortable. Lodge's service is excellent. You just get sad when you have to hand in the keys upon departure. Comfortable unit with lots of space and a peaceful view of the pond. Close to Phabeni Gate. One of our favorite places.
The accommodation was as described. Very good service.
Unit not at all what is advertised. Along the wire overlooking a building site. Dogs barking all night, cars screeching. 229 is advertised with those looking over the water, but is not such a unit at all. Moved to 233A which was old and dirty inside.
Staff was professional and the place is nice, I enjoyed the pool.
The chalet is located in a beautiful estate and is well equipped with a full kitchen. Linen was clean. Reception was very helpful with all queries. We just had an issue with the extractors in the bathroom that kept coming loose. Bedrooms are carpeted.
The unit comfortably sleeps 8 people and is spacious and tidy. If you do not have the unit serviced, you must take enough toilet paper and dish soap with you. There are many hiking trails and swimming spots and the wildlife park is very close. Good location and close to town for places to eat and the farm market on Saturdays.
Swimming, tennis, nature and nice restaurant!
All that bothered me was dogs barking from 11 am to 2 am.
234A is an awfully cute unit. Very convenient. The lodge is beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed our time. Of course, my boys loved the pool and Hippo Hide where the hippos frolic in front of you!
We will be back for sure!
Very pleasant place with a good location: 15 km from the Kruger National Park. Nice golf course for those who play golf. Lots of entertainment for children in holiday times. Overall a good choice for a getaway of any length.
Great unit with everything you might need. Lovely braai on deck overlooking dam with lots of wildlife around.
On arrival at Kruger Park Lodge we were warmly welcomed. The service and friendliness was of excellent quality. Lovely pool. Unbelievably beautiful place.
Very clean, friendly staff and it has peace of mind and is very close to shops.
Great experience and will hope like to invest in this type of ownership.
We hebben genoten van ons verblijf. Alles was goed in orde: woongedeelte, slaapkamers en keuken. Goed gelegen vlakbij leuke plaatsjes, mooie natuur en natuurlijk het Krugerpark. Een aanrader!
Kruger Park Lodge is a lovely place with all the entertainment you need, but choose your chalet correctly. Chalet 229 has no view, apart from houses on the opposite side where dogs bark 24 hours a day and music is played all night on weekends. Not the quiet in the woods cottage I was looking for.
Peaceful, safe, breathtaking silence, beautiful scenery.
This is for sure one of our favorite 'home-away-from-home' places.
Private, quiet and immaculately clean. Everything you need on one property. Shopping center across the road from entrance. Bit of a pain to turn right out of park into main road.
The unit was very well equipped and we enjoyed it very much. All that was bad is that we didn't have a map of the whole resort beforehand so we could check the location of the unit. No. 229 is against the boundary wire and the adjacent neighbors have a lot of noise right through the night on the weekend. I would have liked more of a view from the porch. We also have yet to get our R1000 deposit back but I will follow up now as we were on a 4 week tour of the country with the Australian visitors who enjoyed the park immensely.
I would recommend it for people with teenagers and smaller children. It is an absolutely delightful, peaceful and safe environment. And if you have people who play golf, so much the better! The golf course is beautiful. It's near the wildlife park. There is something for everyone. And the service is great!
Very peaceful and many activities to keep one busy. Very professional.
Nice and quiet, pleasant and cleaners and staff very considerate.
Beautiful place, extremely hot weather but the whole family enjoyed it. Will definitely go back in the future!
The accommodation is comfortable, clean and safe. Being able to sit quietly on the grass and watch the manatees play in the water or the roebucks jump and chase each other around the golf course is a bonus. This is definitely accommodation we will use again.
Chalet 229 can accommodate 8 people but the dining table only has 4 chairs! The cutlery is of poor quality. Frying tongs do not work at all. The front door exterior light did not work. The upstairs bedroom's door lock was broken and could not be repaired. The second bedroom's electrical plug was broken, but was later repaired. The lounge also only has seating for 4 people. The TV is hidden in a hole with the result that someone not sitting across from the TV cannot see it. The braai place's chimney is blocked and all the smoke is bubbling into the porch and living room. One of the patio chairs was missing a cushion. There was no inventory to determine if everything was there. Management has reported that they no longer supply inventory. Opposite the Chalet was an informal housing extension with its associated loudness and unpleasant noise. The first morning we were horrified to wake up to a compressor engine that was switched on next to us and drilling immediately started right next to the chalet, which continued for the whole day!
The environment is nice, especially in winter. For those who play golf - can't get better. Excellent restaurant with reasonable prices. Staff absolutely on their toes. Landlord only struggles to repay breakage deposit despite the fact that the rent was paid long before the occupation date and there was no breakage.
The accommodation's location was excellent. The place was superbly clean. The toaster didn't work from day one and should have been replaced before our arrival. The washing machine was also clearly out of order and should have been fixed prior to our arrival. Many of my new clothes were ruined due to employees lacking expertise and failing to call in an engineer.
I'm just unhappy because I haven't received my breakage deposit back yet.
A lovely lodge, see the stars below.
We were incredibly happy with the state of the chalet we rented - its was clean, had all the necessary cutlery and crockery and was in close proximity to the Kruger National Park, which was the reason for our visit. However, we were placed on the border of the Lodge, which was closest to the outside houses or properties and they were incredibly loud. We will therefore re-vist the lodge but would rather be placed in another location, perhaps near the Hippo Dam - looked very relaxing there. We were disappointed with the service of the waiters and bar staff at the restaurant itself - we were planning on having dinner, but after waiting close to an hour for service and our drinks, we left and did not return for the remainder of the week. Lodge staff were friendly, but I would not recommend the restaurant. Thanks for this opportunity. Regards.
The service was perfect and we are even planing to go back and visit for a week mid next year. The only downside was the cleaners attitude; there was a time where one of the cleaner complained loudly that we were using too much kitchen dishes and creating a lot of work for them.
It was quite relaxing during the stay, and the environment and facility provided we didnt not manage to try them all, so think we might go again soon :D
NVery happy with the chalet. Spotlessly clean; colourful decor and very comfortable beds. The location, which overlooked a man made pond, was lovely and quiet. The chalet did not lack for any utensils required for self catering. Would definitely book this particular chalet again.
The chalet is very comfortable and well furnished. The men had fun playing golf and the women could go for a nice walk and read a book in the sun while the children swam and played games. Very pleasant atmosphere and wonderfully peaceful. Nicely located near the wildlife park. Hazyview has developed beautifully with lots of cute shops and restaurants.
We would have loved to stay even longer. The chalets meet all requirements. We had a great time!

Kruger Park Lodge is a wonderful place for young children and teenagers. The children's entertainment is well organised and my kids loved it. The only complaint I would have - is perhaps you need another public pool - the pools tend to get very full and there are a lot of people which makes swimming unpleasant. Also - from where we stayed it was quite far way to walk ....
Wonderful.
I really enjoyed my stay at Kruger Park Lodge - it is good place to relax with family. The chalet was a really a 4-star accommodation! My kids really enjoyed being there and the atmosphere is safe for the children.
A lovely place.
Really enjoyed my stay. Value for money. Very close to Phabeni gate, Kruger Park. Massive apartments.
We really enjoyed it and will definitely visit Kruger Park Lodge again. The entire resort is well maintained and close to Kruger Wildlife Park and many attractions. The staff is friendly.
It had all we required.
