We have 7 en-suite rooms, all with own outside entrances, most with private, outside courtyards, some with additional outside showers and some with large farm style verandas ideally suited to the Lowveld climate. All bedrooms are individually decorated with solid, bold, Indonesian Teak furniture along minimalist lines to add to the feeling of peace, serenity and tranquillity. The Koi pond meanders all around the house, in and out of the courtyards, reflects a feeling of calm delight.
The spacious lounge with the over sized daybeds is ideal for lazy, relaxing afternoons. We serve a full South African breakfast in the dining room, where all the windows and doors can be stacked away to open the entire space to the front garden. Dinner on request, please book a day in advance.
The lush subtropical garden with it’s rolling lawn, majestic royal palms, large dappled shade trees, orchids, ferns, colourful shrubs and rare collectors plants is a cool escape.

Beautiful. It is in a quiet street, many restaurants and art places and malls and beautiful plantations make Witrivier beyond all expectations. Botanical garden around Crocodile River and Lone Creek's waterfall is breathtaking. Good staff and service. Nice place in a nice village. Thank you very much.

We felt very at home and enjoyed the stay there. Johan goes the extra mile to make you feel at home.
Our stay at KU DE TA was top notch. Johan was friendly and helpful - the breakfast was delicious and fresh - dinners were just as tasty and the room was clean. Will definitely stay there again. The garden creates such a peaceful atmosphere that you can rest and relax.

We enjoyed our stay. The only thing that was a turn off was the leather bedding and also the inside shower that didn't have a shower door. Also, the drainage in the shower is not good, because the water doesn't flow and it gets stuck there, hence you can't enjoy those long showers. The food was great. Johan is a great cook. His omelettes are the BEST. The outside shower was the best thing ever. So refreshing...
I have experienced the following: Gutters outside have holes in them where they have rusted through. Signs outside short of paint especially where old ones have been replaced. Ceiling fan is dirty and worn. The door of the cupboard in which the fridge is stored cannot close. Bedside table's knob is broken and cannot be opened. Room's carpet is dirty and full of stains. TV and remotes come out of the ark and image is power. Can't get in or out of property at all if power is out, no generator. Dinners are advertised if pre-arranged but when I inquired afterwards I was told this could not be done. The person who stood in while the owners were on leave really made us feel at home and that's the only reason why we stayed. I will never go back unless the place is upgraded and the prices are lowered. I then stayed at another place which was half the price and offered much better value for money.

Breakfast was a feast, the outside shower a must, but rooms not clean enough.
