First time camper but the host and other good campers helped me to set up my tent. Best memories ever. Rita is a good pastry chef. Peanut butter bites are my favourite. Good hosts with good hearts.
Big stands. Ablutions were clean.
It was a special experience in Dinokeng with our long weekend at Kudu Bush Camp. We were made to feel very welcome. We were directly on the self-drive routes, every morning and every afternoon we saw many animals at the camp. Was great to see a fox walking along the boundary wire too. Goats slept right next to our camp on our last night. The camping area and private ablution are very neat and well laid out. We will definitely come and camp with you again.
Friendly reception, lovely grounds with neat ablution facilities. We saw many animals and birds from our tent. Not much coolness in the winter, but it wasn't a big problem at all.

We had the best time there. The bathrooms are clean and everything from the power to the bathrooms are close to the very neat pitches. The owners were fantastic and would love to go back again.

We had a great time camping. It was such a nice peaceful weekend. The private bathrooms make a big difference - it's very nice to just leave your suitcase in the bathroom, you get a key and can lock your bathroom too. The power point is quite a distance from the stand, so be sure to pack a nice long extension! Sites 6, 7 and 8 see the most wildlife, as they look for the water hole and salt lick. Stand 6 definitely has the most coolness among the 3. The wild boars, kudus and wildebeests came to visit us often.
We enjoyed our stay at Kudu Bush Camp. The place is very safe, ablution facilities are very clean. Kids had fun at the jungle gym and big lovely poolside. We had a great stay. Hosts were very helpful where required, and they welcomed us with open arms. I will definitely revisit the place. I recommend this place; it's calm and very quiet for a relaxed stay. Keep it up!
We had a wonderful time camping at this spot. Beautiful, clean and brand new ablution block for each campsite with toilet, shower and basin, and an outside double sink for washing dishes. There is an electricity point for camping trailers and a braai. There's a big swimming pool, trampoline, and jungle gym for the kids. It's a great location, almost in the middle of Dinokeng reserve. We saw a herd of wildebeest and 2 bush pigs right at the fence. It's nice and dark at night and feels like you're in the bush, which is not always the case in Dinokeng. I would definitely recommend and will go again. Ice is available at the campsite. The only thing to note is that not all campsites have much shade. We did have quite a shady one, but take a gazebo or something in case.

Super clean place, super-clean ablutions, great service, super-friendly owners - made sure we had the greatest comfortable stay. This is one of the few bush camping places I can truly call home away from home and definitely my new 2nd home. The place is so tranquil that mid-week stays for those working from home and just wishing for a quick getaway can just go there and enjoy working from the bush - their backup power system must be out of this world as we never had load shedding and we had network. I guess the owners' friendliness has not just affected us only but the wildlife there as the wildebeest and zebras feel safe and welcome around this campsite. It was nice to wake up to these species every single morning and see them before we went to bed. If you want to see wildlife without the need to waste your diesel on self-drives - as they come to your campsite - then waste no time and book your stay at Kudu Bush Camp.

Claus is a wonderful host and offers a tranquil bush getaway. The camp is the perfect size for young families. Kids can enjoy the pool, trampoline, and jungle gym or just enjoy nature, remembering of course that they are in the wild. We will most certainly visit again.

We camped and it felt like we were sleeping among the animals for some reason the wildebeest less than 10 meters from us came to sleep next to the fence as the sun went down.
We had a great time at Kudu Bush Camp. The highlight was definitely the wildlife that came so close to the wire to graze and drink water.

The host was really great. There is a waterhole close to the place so you get to sit with wild animals during your stay. The place has the best-looking and cleanest ablutions I have ever seen and I have seen a lot of them.
Have your own bathroom - where you never get it (especially if you're camping). Friendly welcome. Only criticism I can give is that they make the look around the pool safer and put a gate around it. See many people go there with small children and you have to watch them all the time at the pool, because the climbing frame for children is at the pool and children cannot be left out of a pool. Other than that, I really can't say anything bad about the place and will definitely go there again.

We enjoyed it so much, especially that the campsite is a bit smaller and therefore there are not overwhelmingly many people which makes it cramped. The pool is perfectly located for the children. It was very convenient to have ice and wood on site.
We camped for 5 days in December and wish we had booked for longer. Claus, Rita and Jolene made us feel very welcome. They were available if we needed any help. The campsite and bathrooms are clean, tidy and very comfortable. A big plus for us was that there was enough space on the pitches. We will definitely book here again if we camp in Dinokeng.
Kudu Bush Camp is ideal for camping as we like small campsites and this one has a particularly intimate feel. It is also close to our home and Claus and Rita are the most friendly host and hostess and always willing to help where they can. The ablution marked out for each stand is neat and clean and close to the stand and very convenient. The large pool is clean and lovely to cool off in late afternoon. The camp is well maintained. We had a great time. Thank you guys!

The host, Claus, is very helpful and an absolute gentleman. Always making sure that guests are fine. The camp is at a great location, with easy access to the shop for supplies like wood. It's also well located to explore the reserve for self drives.
We had a great time. Kudu Bush has 8 pitches each with its own ablution, so it's ideal for family groups or birthday groups to camp together and be on their own without other people. The facilities are very neat and clean. We will definitely go there again.
We took our 3 young granddaughters and they loved it. They were safe and loved being in the bush on drives to spot animals as well as playing on site. Well worth a visit. We will go back and have recommended Kudu Bush camp to other family members who camp.

Neat private ablutions, peaceful environment with wild animals around. Well priced and close to Pretoria. Park's self-drive fee and conservation fee do make it more expensive. Shadow is but little.
