81 guests' feedbackIt was an amazing experience. The house was clean, tidy and beautiful. It had everything you need for a family vacation. We had young kids and teenagers, so everyone was happy and relaxed. Pieter was a pleasure to deal with. He had the house ready with everything to make our stay convenient. The washer and dryer were a lifesaver with a family of six! Thank you for your amazing hospitality. I will definitely do it again and recommend it to everyone and my family!
Absolutely amazing house with no flaws. Definitely value for money. Our animal visitors were our highlight. Almost no need to even enter the park. Although the monkeys were a nuisance we still enjoyed them and couldn't wait to witness their antics.
This was the 2nd time we stayed at Kudus Crest and like last time, it was absolutely fantastic! We will definitely stay longer next time. Everything you need is there and the interaction with the animals was amazing!
Kudus Crest Bush Retreat is a very well equipped place. It's a dream for someone who loves to cook. The solar power was a big plus during load shedding.
This is the place you want to be! Beautiful with everything you need. Pieter is an excellent host. Here you have all the luxuries of your own home with all the animals that come to meet you while you are still unpacking. You lack nothing!
Had a great time with kids from the UK. Ideal, fully equipped, clean and affordable self-catering accommodation.
House is well equipped, has everything you need for a holiday including all appliances and solar power. The only nuance was a very creaky floor upstairs; every step can be heard at night and it wakes people up. This only applies if you have someone sleeping in the bedroom upstairs.
We had a great time relaxing and there is everything you might need. Even though the power went out, due to the weather, everything still worked. The animals that walk around there are very cute.
We had a very nice stay. The house is spacious and very well equipped. It was wonderful like that in the bushveld with the wildlife that often came to visit.
The unit really lived up to the name with beautiful kudus that come to visit regularly. It was a wonderful interaction. The unit has air conditioning and solar, so it is really very comfortable.
The house is very well equipped with various animals that come to visit in the evening and late afternoon. Food in the form of pellets was provided for the goats which was also enjoyed by the warthogs. However, we were warned by the rangers at the entrance to Marloth to throw on the ground instead and not try to feed the animals by hand. Pieter was in constant contact and made sure that everything was right in the house. The air conditioners were a necessity as it was very hot during our visit. It worked great. We could also enjoy the rugby on the smart TV. Would definitely recommend Kudus Crest Bush Retreat.
We go to Marloth often. There are not many houses that are so well equipped! Kudu's Crest has spacious rooms, a large living area, large kitchen with everything you need. The owner maintains contact and is friendly and helpful. We had a great time and rested, and will definitely book there again!
We definitely would like to get specials so we can come back again.
Communication with the owner was very responsive and helpful via WhatsApp. Its location is great to see animals and even better to hear night animals. We visited from Australia and our teenagers loved the experience and we all want to come and stay again.
Nice place, solar power and wifi definitely a plus.
Interaction with the wild animals that visited us every morning and evening had been fantastic. The place is very well furnished and caters to all your needs. Right place to come rest and recharge your batteries.
Houses and facilities are great, braai places very convenient. Bring enough game and fill the animals' feeding place regularly. Sit back or lie in the pool and watch the animals come to visit. No need to drive around; everything you need is there. Book for long enough, you will enjoy it immensely!
It's an absolutely phenomenal place! Here is everything you need. 3 bedrooms with 3 shower bathrooms. Inverter for load shedding. 3 air conditioners. Swimming pool and braai and boma area. And the animals are around the house all the time. Absolute oasis in the bush. The owner immediately tried to help us with accommodation when we needed it at short notice. Service was fantastic.
Regular animal visits, feeding them from your hands. A very comfortable house with all that you need and a superb pool/braai/fire pit area.
Neat, fully equipped and peaceful place. Will definitely use you again if we go to Mozambique again. I would recommend anyone to sleep over here. Thank you Pieter for your friendly service and help with everything. We will talk again in the future!
The accommodation is extremely comfortable, we had a great time.
Sehr freundliche landlord. Great equipment. We had an unforgettable time.
No expense has been spared to make sure one can forget about load shedding as a result of the solar panel system. The house is quite luxurious and has more than one needs. The visiting area and boma are excellent and offer a lot of safe enjoyment for the children with the streams of animals that visit. Pieter's communication is excellent and friendly and it truly felt like our own piece of diamond. Kudus Crest is incredibly delicious. Unfortunately, Marlothpark's roads are only in very bad condition during our visit, but it is also rainy season.
The place is very nicely furnished with everything you need. The ice maker and dishwasher were a welcome surprise.
Our children from England came to visit us for the weekend. The owner maintained good communication with me which is really appreciated. I had the audacity to call him about the leaking water faucet. The solar system is a big plus as there were frequent power outages and they didn't harm us.
Wonderful stay! Host, key pick-up place and accommodations get the top score. We were 3 from South Africa and 2 internationals spending 4 nights and there was absolutely nothing we can complain about.
We had fun in the bush. We enjoyed the animals that visited us and we were able to feed them, I might say the animals didn't trouble us at all! The only problem we had was an electricity problem but what I liked is that if the electricity was off we were still able to cook and they had lights for us fully charged. The cold water was a big problem since from Friday until Monday we bathed with cold water.
Kudus Crest Bush Retreat is a very nice, tidy, well-furnished residence in the heart of Marloth. Very comfortable with everything you need. The inverter is a big bonus with power outages. Swimming pool was very nice to cool off in and the visit of a variety of animals was a great surprise. Thank you very much for a very nice visit. We would love to visit again.
It is a very nice and clean place. It is well laid out for a group of friends. The place makes good provision for loadshedding. Kudu Crest Bush Retreat does not disappoint. We were visited by many kudus and all the other animals too. Thank you very much Kudu Crest Bush Retreat for renting your place. Will definitely come again.
If you like animals, and are just looking for tranquility, Kudus Crest Bush Retreat is the ideal place.
Beautiful situation. Loved the game coming right up to the house. All the necessary amenities and utensils to make a memorable stay.
We enjoyed ourselves. The place was very lovely and beautiful.
What an incredible experience to be greeted by the animals all day: the wind hole zebras do not hesitate to come to the front door and have breakfast with you. The giraffes eat shyly from the treetops, warthogs, blue wildebeest, various goats. This place is a must! Drive along the Crocodile River and then you will see the elephants and bushbuck grazing in the Kruger National Park. Comfortable and convenient accommodation, Pieter does not hesitate to go the extra mile.
Was a very nice house with adequate facilities.
Quiet retreat. Lived feeding the game. Perfect place for bush life and easy quick drive to the Kruger. Loved the easy quick walk to the river.
A comfortable place to stay. Wish they had a picnic table or some outdoor seating where we can eat. But very comfortable and clean. The zebra greeted us when we arrived. Great for our international friends who were visiting.
House was very well equipped and the house was clean and tidy. Very safe, as well as location that is well central. Had a nice stay.
Very nice stay. Calm atmosphere.
The animals that come out late at night and come to eat from your hand were the highlight for me. The house is lovely and fully equipped. Service great.
Comfortable, spacious and great value. We'll be back. Giraffe, warthog and kudu right on your doorstep. literally. They arrive every morning and afternoon for a treat.
The accommodation was modern and functional and this contributed to an enjoyable visit.
We really enjoyed our time at Kudus Crest retreat with the wild animals that come to visit so often. The included feed for the animals was a generous contribution. The accommodation is clean and tidy, with everything you need available.
See stars.
Peter was a great host! He made our stay even better, by being attentive and prompt in responding to any matter. The place was well-equipped and my friends had no complaints. We really enjoyed our stay.
The unit is very neat and clean. This was probably the best house we have ever rented in Marlothpark.
See stars.
So many animals came to visit on the 1st night.
Privacy is not as good as one would expect in Marloth, construction is being done by the neighbor on your front porch.
The house has everything we needed.
Lacks a dishwasher and washing machine.
Braai area good and covered if the weather doesn't cooperate, swimming pool very nice on hot days. Bathrooms for each room which makes it very convenient. Have fun. Enough bathrooms making it convenient for larger families.
See stars.
The place was very neat, safe and the environment was very peaceful. We saw many animals that came up to the house.
We loved the location and the fact that so many animals visited us. We fed them every day. We had Zebra's, Kudu's, ostriches, Impala's, warthogs and steenbokkies. We could enjoy the splash pool during very hot days as well. Just the right size for a family of 4 and close to the Kruger to go there as well. It was really an amazing experience.
The unit was very comfortable and extremely well-equipped with everything we could need. We thoroughly enjoyed the abundance of animals that visited us and the feed that was provided to give them. We would most definitely recommend Kudus Crest Bush Retreat any day and would love to visit again.
We had a great time at Kudus Bush Retreat and will definitely return!
Our best accommodation yet in Marloth Park, everything you need is at your disposal. Very clean and tidy. Really appreciated the extra wood and food for the animals. Thank you very much.
You will definitely see us again. The fact that we got wood and food to feed the animals was very nice.
Three bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, two living areas. Owner who is available and helpful all the time. Everything you need and big fridge and big freezer. On a walk-through and had a lot of animals around the house. Thanks for the feed that was available. We will go back again and again.
Very clean, modern, beautiful home. Had everything we needed and more. The amount of animals that visited us was amazing. Seeing the bush-babies so close was incredible. Loved every moment, will definitely be back. Definitely worth a try value for money. Thanks Eugene.
Netjies plek, skoon en als wat jy nodig het. Eugene is ook altyd beskikbaar om te help en meer inligting te gee. Ons sal definitief weer by Kudus Crest gaan kuier.
Dis 'n skoon en rustige plek.
Kudus Crest Bush Retreat is a beautiful place that has been very carefully decorated. There is just about nothing that is missing in the house. It was wonderful and many animals came to visit us. Eugene, the host was also just friendly and very helpful.
Beautiful, comfortable house with everything you need and much more. Amazing customer service from Eugene. Already miss all the four-legged friends who come looking for food in the morning and at night. Will gladly recommend the house and hope to go there again soon.
We have no complaint.
The house was very neat and well furnished. Everything one needed was available. The field was nice and wet and green. The visit of the animals was special. Eugene kept us well informed. We would love to visit Kudus Crest again.
It's the best place to switch off and witness our Heavenly father's work. We love nature very much and this time we were so blessed the giraffes were right on the porch and all the other animals.
Beautiful clean and tidy house with everything you need. Animals so tame they come up to the porch and eat from your hand.
Is very dry. Game is fed by residents.
We had a nice stay. It's a nice and tidy place.
We really enjoyed the forest, children got very excited when the animals came to visit. House was clean and very tidy. Will recommend for sure.
Very nice and good service.
Very neat and well furnished house that is tastefully decorated. Each bedroom in the house is equipped with its own en-suite bathroom. We were pleasantly surprised with all the wild animals that came to hang out on our porch, and are so tame that they literally eat out of your hand, and the incredible silence and tranquility of the environment. We will definitely visit Kudus Crest Bush Retreat again for a break in the future, and can definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to get away from the everyday hustle and bustle or just relax in nature. Thank you Eugene for all the help, information and directions to make our stay even more pleasant and special.
Lots of animals around the house. House is nice and cool. House is very nice inside. Everything is in place for power and water failure. Pool is just right. Wonderful of them to leave us wood for braai and boma. So is the feed for the animals. Our children cried when we had to lock up to come home.
We really had a great time, very nice house and very comfortable, very tasteful. Thanks for the wood and feed for the animals. There were many animals, nice and clean swimming pool and very nice braai area. Thanks to Eugene for good service and whatsapps informing us of events etc. We will definitely stay at Kudus Crest again.
Fantastic braai facilities as well as a sparkling swimming pool. The house is very neat and very clean.
Would just recommend that more comfortable chairs with arms for outside by the fire would be nicer, or just maybe forewarning to bring your camp chair. Don't know if I missed it, but maybe just something to clean the braai (didn't want to use the house shovel and broom). In terms of customer service - everyone was very friendly and helpful, only the aunty where you have to pick up keys is a bit blunt. Appreciate Eugene sending me directions and all in advance. It helped a lot and it made me feel very welcome, especially since I went alone with my children because my husband couldn't go with me. Will definitely bring my husband next time.
The facilities and expectations that were created were beyond expectation. Will definitely stay here again.
Neat and clean accommodation! House is beautifully furnished! Everything was great!
Relaxing, safe and value for money.
The only issue I had with this place which is major issue ,the service providers are far behind ,they do not welcome guests of different race very well ,and their reception is very condescending am very concerned about that very much concerned ,in 2020 in SA receiving such service because of the color of your skin its very backwards ,they are rude and very unfriendly other issue is load shedding but its everywhere I guess.
