Kudu's Rus is a stunning place. Very clean, neat and comfortable, modernly furnished and surprises you upon first entering the place with all the luxuries. The owners were in contact with us the whole time. I would recommend the place to anyone anytime. We felt so welcome and at home. We will definitely book this stunning place again.
True to this place's name, we were greeted upon our arrival at Kudu's Rest by kudus resting in the path. Kudu's Rus has everything you need to experience the forest in every way. Five-star facilities, friendly service, beautiful scenery and animals that come to say hello every now and then make it an experience of a lifetime.
The accommodation was very clean and comfortable. Everything you need in the kitchen was provided and clean. Our stay was really nice.
Our first impressions of Kudu's Rus, was how clean and tidy it is. It was an experience and our first time at Kudu's Rus, but definitely not our last time. The wild animals that come to eat from your hand and the variety of wildlife that was seen at Kudu's Rus is incredible. We recommend it for any family with children and were pleasantly surprised with the plastic dishes for the children, which you don't usually find in units. The owner was very helpful and friendly with inquiries and requests and always helpful.
Very cute place. Linen and towels top quality. Living room couches are just damn uncomfortable. With inclement weather, we couldn't hang out outside.

A wonderful getaway. Location is perfect, hear lions and manatees in the evening. Night owls and fruit bats come to visit us every night and muskellunge cats on the last night. Will definitely book the place again, the best in Marlothpark.
Wow, where do you start? Owner is on top of everything. Always available and friendly. Neat and clean place in the forest near the river. And many kudus and other animals that come to visit (night owls in the evening).

We were 6 adults with a 2 year old child. Very nice stay. Many animals made a visit. Be sure to take your own camping chairs, otherwise you won't be able to sit around the boma.
Kudu's Rus is the best place we have stayed in, in Marloth Park.
Very pleasant place. Many animals seen including night monkeys that just eat out of your hand. Of big five also seen in wildlife park adjacent to Marloth. They come to a fence that is next to Krokkedil River and not far from Kudu's Rest.
It was a great stay and definitely a place I would visit again. The place was very clean and all that one needed was there. The pool, the WiFi, and the little gift was awesome.

We had a very nice time at Kudu's Rus. The house is tidy and everything is in good condition. Everything you need and more is in the house, the pool was clean and can be heated. Would go there again anytime.
Very very neat house. The cooling pad is a real lifesaver. There are so many animals that come to visit during the day and ask for an old snack. The night sounds also fantastic, one night heard the lions roaring in the wildlife park. Hippos' hums are also very beautiful. It really is a lovely place in the woods to just get away from it all and find one's humanity again. Marcelle is also very helpful and really goes out of her way to make it as pleasant as possible. Kudu’s Rus is neat and comfortable home with a lot of animals come and go around the house I will definitely book at this home again great for animal lovers.
The fact that there was wood the evening we arrived made it possible to have a fire as we did not have time to get to the shop. The food for the animals also made it worth the while. We did buy more food and add it to the bin but it was just a extra touch that we did not get in the other places.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Beautiful interaction with animals as they came up to unit. Truly a different experience we'll definitely do again. Thanks to our hosts Marchelle and Martin.
Marlothpark gets really hot in December, but thanks to the air conditioning in the unit, we were able to enjoy the stay-at-home days and comfortably alternate between the splash pool and a lovely cool unit! The wildlife comes to peek in the early morning, and again later in the afternoon. The night owl didn't stop by to entertain us, but there is more than enough other wildlife in the park to get the full nature experience. Marloth is also just around the corner from the Crocodile Gate of the Kruger and we were lucky to see the Big 5 and much more in one visit! The layout of the unit is very practical and the decor is stylishly rounded off. We had a great time and will visit the unit again (in cooler season).

It is indeed a piece of heaven. The place was clean, tidy and our stay was second to none. I would really recommend Kudu's Rest to anyone. Our greatest expectations were exceeded. The owners really treated us like friends and made us feel very welcome.

Saying that this exceeded my expectations does not mean that I expected a bad experience, but I have often stayed at accommodation that was not quite what I hoped for. In this case we were pleasantly surprised to find a well-equipped, clean and comfortable home with many thoughtful features and friendly, prompt service. We will go there again.
The unit was lovely and we had a wonderful time, the pool was a great relief during the summer humidity and we had lots of animals come to visit.
Unfortunately, the nearby shopping complex was audible in the evening.
We go to Marloth park at least once a month and if I compare Kudus Rus against the other places we stayed at for a much cheaper price it doesn’t come close. The place itself is very clean, neat and looked after but there are no towels, the power tripped and I had to go bundu-bashing to look for the power box and there is a decoder for DST’V but it doesn’t work.
The house is well looked after and is perfect for a holiday. I would highly recommend!
The accommodation is neat and close to the shopping center as well as viewpoints. The kitchen has everything needed. The host's communication was excellent. I would definitely recommend the stay and we will definitely use Kudu's Rus again next time.
We had such a lovely stay here in the house. It was delightful in the bushveld and we had so many guests that it was one great excitement. It is very peaceful and we enjoyed it very much. The bushbabies were such an excitement every evening.
It was a lovely few days. The tranquility is just incredible and the animals that pop in from time to time are just incredible. The night boy makes the time very short with his antics. Absolutely a winner.
We had a very nice stay. The splash pool was a winner, especially as it is under a roof. Six to eight people will stay there comfortably. We will go again if we get the chance. We have stayed in several houses in Marloth and Kudu's Rus is definitely the favourite.
We really enjoyed our stay and the nights are definitely the highlight and the fact that it is located near the river. Only problem I can mention is the gas hot water system - if you shower there is not enough hot water to get you clean before the cold water hits you! Not a nice experience - after 5 days we still couldn't manage - you have to quickly wet, wrap, apply soap and rinse quickly, but the cold water still catches you. The dining table's chairs are all broken and only two are usable. All alternative to sitting at the table and eating are uncomfortable wooden benches without backrests.
Quiet, peaceful, clean, tidy and an awful lot of animals. I would recommend anyone to book this place.
