Easy-going programme for a relaxing weekend, game walk, cycling or driving to view animals and nature. No Big 5 so no risk of unpleasant encounters and animals are pretty chilled, kids can explore. When it gets too hot, the pool, table tennis or pool table awaits. And later on, enjoy a sundowner, stunning sunsets, a braai and card or billiard games.

The owner and management have thought of everything to make it as luxurious and comfortable as possible. You just bring your clothes, food and drinks, the rest is there! Indescribable tranquility in the middle of woodland nature, with beautiful animals and birds. Silver clean accommodation, with friendly and professional staff. Highly recommend for family and groups of friends.
We stayed at Ndebele as a family group of 13 for an overnight stop. It has a large living area and the kitchen is well equipped. The rooms are spacious and interestingly decorated. The children really enjoyed the table tennis and pool table, as well as the outdoor pool after the cold swim. It's very peaceful and you can enjoy walking and watching the wildlife. It's definitely a place where you can stay longer and visit. Friendly and helpful host.
Very exclusive and private.
We stayed at Hornbill Lodge as a family group and the setting and facilities met all our expectations. The only disappointment was that we were supposed to vacate as early as ten o'clock on Sunday morning, which we felt was unfair to weekend guests. However, after negotiation, the manager agreed that we could stay until two o'clock because the next guests were not expected until Monday.

It was an unforgettable break. The animals close to the lodge contributed to a forest experience away from the city. Kevin was a pleasant host and the staff was prompt. The silence, birds and thunder showers really relaxed us. We had fun swimming, walking, playing. Definitely recommend Kwê Kwê. Hope we get out there again soon. Thank you very much.

We were 8 adults and 6 kids. The accommodation was spacious, clean, with excellent service and staff. Great evenings spent around the fire.
We enjoyed the stay very much. Ample entertainment for the children with the "gamesroom", swimming pool and safe walking routes. Domestic animals come to visit the house all day. The farm manager (Kevin) is definitely an asset to this place. We will visit again.
Unfortunately I cannot recommend this establishment. Firstly the owner did not give us full information about the sleeping arrangements. In the main building, there is one room with a double bed, a bunker bed and a single bed. In 2 of the other rondawels there is a double bed and a single bed and the last one a double bed. The problem with this is that we were a group of 13 adults, so how does he expect 5 adults to sleep in the same room? Secondly, the lack of maintenance is shocking. The air-conditioning unit plus the geyser in the one rondawel was not operational. So, no hot water for a shower and no air-con against the heat! In the other rondawel, the drain in the shower was blocked and so there was water all over the floor whenever anybody attempted to take a shower. The games room they advertise is a loose standing lapa with a broken down pool table and dart board. The fridge was not working properly and we constantly had to move food to the freezer in an attempt to keep it cold. This was my birthday weekend and I so wanted it to be special, but unfortunately it was not. What a disappointment!
