Please note that the dogs from across the street do mess up the back garden and a gate might not be a bad idea. What was not good is that the SMS I received said it was no. 19. There are older people living in no. 19 and they were not at all impressed with us trying to open their door. The house is number 21! The oven is not working.
Safety in Paternoster is a challenge. Around every corner there are people who want to sell you lobster. Some unfortunately make a burden of themselves. The first night there was someone in the garden. Fortunately, there are sensors that were activated. I believe it was a deterrent. Loadshedding is here to stay. Maybe look at solutions to make it more comfortable. In front of the house there is construction going on on a new house. The cement mixer dates back to the last century and was disturbing. It was on from 08h30 to 16h00 and disturbed the tranquility (which you look for on a holiday).
Excellent location and beautiful house. See you again soon! Kwathula is tops.
Great place to spend a weekend.
Very nice location in Paternoster with a nice sea view. The unit has a lot of space and is well furnished. WiFi available but no TV. Nice stoep for visiting and the braai facilities are good.
Kwathula is a gorgeous house with all the amenities you might need. The views are stunning, you will have difficulty dragging yourself off the benches/couch to stroll on the beach just a stone's throw away. The patio downstairs is great for a sheltered spot out of the wind and the bedrooms are well-appointed. We will definitely be back.
Really good value for money.
Our stay was good, except the geyser didn't work, and we had no hot water for 3 days. Plumbers were sent, who could not fix the problem.
A well-appointed home with every comfort required. We felt that more could have been done to have the patio cleaned before our arrival, a dead pigeon and lots of bird poo evidence that the place was not inspected prior to our arrival.
Happy with everything, might recommend looking into the geyser. Water temperature in showers is only lukewarm.
An innovative and tastefully furnished house that provides all comfort necessary and with a relaxing atmosphere. A superb view! More attention could be put to a crispy cleanliness.
We had a lovely stay in KwaThula, but there were problems with the geyser in the house so we didn't have hot water. Otherwise the house was very comfortable and the view was unbelievable!

KwaThula is pet friendly and has a once-off pet fee of R200.00 per pet.
Key- and breakage deposit:
Key- and breakage deposit is payable with the deposit for the booking and refundable by bank transfer within 5 - 7 working days after departure, once the house has been scrutinised and all found in order. Please note that the key deposit will be retained and additional charges imposed if more guests than booked are found to be utilising the premises. Please furnish us with your banking details on arrival. Keys will not be handed over under any circumstances unless the key and breakage deposit has been received.
Minimum stay required:
2 nights in low and mid-season
3 nights over long weekends
4 nights over Easter weekend
7 nights in high season
Guests must first visit our offices to check in and get their keys.
When entering Paternoster, turn left at the four-way stop. The 'Stay in Paternoster' office is situated about 75m further, on the right-hand side of the road, at 87 St. Augustine Road.

Check-out time: Strictly at 10:00 on the last day of your stay, unless otherwise arranged. Any unit that is not vacated by 10h00 will be subject to a surcharge of R 200 per hour or part thereof, for each hour exceeding the check-out time.
