It was fantastic. Safe and secure. Good views. Booking the holiday was hassle-free, and the travel agency was very informative until the day of arrival. Will definitely book another holiday with them at the same accommodation place.

Was good but with some issues. The sofa, cocktail table and chairs were broken. The couch in the living room was very dirty and broken. Upon arrival there was a very unpleasant smell in the apartment. The bedding was dirty. The owner immediately attended to it, and the next day it was sorted out.

We enjoyed it so much, there is everything you need, you find few places with such a nice balcony and space in an apartment. Owner very accommodating and helpful, asked every now and then if als was still OK which few owners do. We could see the whales so beautifully while we were grilling some meat. We can definitely recommend the place, we really enjoyed it, thank you Roland. We will definitely book again.

Good value for money.
Apartment needs some renovation, such as new fridge, trash can and new grill. Furthermore, a very nice place.
We were a family of 6 adults who went away together. We were very happy with the amount of space the apartment offers, unfortunately everything was not complete in sets of 6 like e.g. the stoep's chairs. The apartment was also half cleaned and the one single bed smelled like urine. Fortunately, we were able to use the apartment's washing machine to make it smell better. Service from the owner was great and overall it was a nice apartment to keep on holiday over December. I would suggest that a little attention is given to better mattresses and bedding to justify the price over the December period and then of course the cleanliness of the cleaners.

Why we chose this apartment over others is because it is on the beach but also walking distance from the shops. You can also conveniently braai on the balcony and therefore you do not have to carry all the trays of meat and braai facilities to a communal braai area. Galleria shopping center is also bad 3 km away. We will return again for sure. The pool and beautiful view was a bonus on top of the comfortable accommodation.

The receptionist where key is received could not provide much information about things like where we park and which button on remote is for what. With the help of security and a very friendly maid, we found out where we were allowed to park and the lady even fetched us a trolley for our luggage and went up with us in the lift to show us where the apartment was. Very friendly, helpful staff at the apartment block. The accommodation was wonderful and everything was neat and clean, very safe.
Accommodation was all that one needed at the coast. No need to even get into your car. Was very comfortable and there is plenty of space! Nice sea view and at least one's own barbecue! All we can nitpick is that you might think about giving 2 sets of keys to people to make things easier if groups want to do their own thing.

The apartment has everything you'd need for a vacation. Only thing that lacked in the main bedroom was a dressing table and chair to do one's hair. Would always go there whenever we're on vacation in Amanzimtoti.

Maybe just paranoia since we hail from Gauteng, but we didn't feel safe leaving the sliding doors open in the evenings, so security gates would'be been nice. One misses the sound of the waves.

It was a really nice weekend stay and facilities were good. There is a request for a toaster and a list of everything that is in the apartment, because it complicates the inventory to check what was there and is no longer there. No other complaints, we really enjoyed it. Trust that my deposit will be refunded to me as soon as possible.

Comfortable stay for a couple travelling with kids.
Wonderful and comfortable holiday flat. The service was incredible and professional. The flat itself was very neat and close by the beach. It was a pleasure to stay there and can recommend the flat.

Roland has been a great host, very concerned about our well being and never got agitated with all my questions. We had a wonderful time in L'Escalier 206. The place is very spacious, clean, modern, wonderful seaviews, secure complex with 24 hour security, access control etc. Too many to mention. The laundry service even opened after hours for us to get our laundry back in time for a wedding. Excellent value for your money. Other places in the same complex couldn't match Roland in price. I definitely will go back to L'Escalier 206 and most definitely recommend it to others. We wouldn't have found a better place to stay.
This was our second stay at this apartment. Each time was comfortable, clean and neat. Very well appointed with stylish furniture and decor. Spacious and enough room and an awesome sea view. The owner gave excellent service and they will do anything to make your holiday as comfortable as possible. I will recommend this place anytime.

The apartment is conveniently located near shops and fully equipped. We did ask for a wheelchair friendly unit and although we didn't get along directly with a wheelchair, it was very convenient for the person who had to get around with a walker and crutches, very convenient indeed. Will definitely recommend this unit to our friends and family.

Ons het 'n vreeslike lekker tyd gehad. Die plek was baie mooi skoon en die ligging is perfek. Die sekuriteit is fantasties en ons het nooit bedreig gevoel nie. Die uitsig was awesome. Alles wat 'n mens nodig het was in die woonstel. Die troosprys was die wasmasjien, dit het vreeslik baie gehelp. Almal se hulp was uitstekend en die mense is baie gaaf.
This is a great unit supported by great service by the owner and the agent. Its a bit more expensive than others that are available but the size and location suited me more favourably and i didn't mind paying a bit more.
The location is good, beautiful sea view. Place is neat and clean, and we had everything we needed. The only thing we didn't like was that the cleaners came in one morning at 08:00 while we were still sleeping. I suggest you get a "do not disturb" or "no housekeeping" sign that you can put up to avoid situations like that. I know the lift being broken on our arrival is unforseen circumstance, but it was quite inconvenient. Otherwise the place is great! Will definitely recommend it and will go there again when we go to Amanzimtoti in the future.

This is the perfect place for a holiday getaway. You really feel at home, it is comfortable and very neat. I have already recommended it to my family and friends. The owner is very friendly and is exceeds expectation in ensuring his guests are happy and comfortable. The place is close to the beach and close enough to walk to the Waterworld for the children. Adults and children can have fun on a day out together. The shops and are also within walking distance and it is safe to walk around and just enjoy the break from everyday living in the city.
