Our accommodation was more than we expected - so spacious and adequate in every way! We didn't really use the kitchen - except the kettle & toaster in the 2 mornings. The king size bed was fabulous - we expected a double bed - so that was a plus. Your staff, especially Moses, was very friendly and informative! We especially liked the lavender flowers everywhere - especially in the fridge - cute!

We really enjoyed our stay at La Baleine Beach even with load shedding which may have been God send. We were greeted by Moses on our arrival who gave us our keys. Moses was extremely friendly, and professional, and took us through the studio about the facilities ect. The atmosphere in the complex was quiet and relaxing just what we needed. Will I stay there again definitely, although I may elect the unit with a full-see view next time?
The studio apartment at La Baleine Beach House Collection is well furnished and equipped, and it was a lovely place to stay for a short break away.
The place is beautiful. Just note that if it rains, the braai facilities are not practical. Would go again anytime.

We had a lovely stay in La Baleine Beach House Collection. The unit was neat and everything the photos promised. Only a few steps away from Paternoster Waterfront where there are delicious restaurants. Nice partial view of the sea. The WiFi wasn't great and we had no connection, but we went to relax so it didn't bother us too much. The double bed is not very comfortable either. Otherwise we had a lovely time.
We will definitely holiday at La Baleine again. The location is unbeatable and staff there led by Wessel, Moses go out of their way to make it unforgettably pleasant.
Building work across the access road was ongoing and as described by Management running behind schedule. It is understood that the two units being worked on across the road were not part of the rental/holiday pool - but! The Local Authority should intervene and speak to the owners or their principal agent (if indeed there is one!) to control access for workers, deliveries and general noise. La Baleine is going to take a 'knock' and all these things should be negotiated beforehand. The one owner is extending their own chimney beyond the sight line from behind - where is the architectural control? These sorts of things are unacceptable - I know one does not buy a view - but!
We had a wonderful stay. Amenities were neat and comfortable, and well appointed. Nicely located and close to both beaches, nice restaurants etc. Our view was exceptional and the beach bad a few steps away.
What a beautiful spot and a perfect house to go with it. The house had absolutely everything you could think of needing whilst on holiday.

This is our third stay at Oranje, La Baleine in the past 6 months. Moses who booked us in is always very professional and helpful. The accommodation is very private with beautiful views of the ocean. It is also close to crayfish wharf and all other amenities. A overall stunning location and accommodation.
We stayed in Leerdam house for a weekend. The house was well equipped with everything you need. Moses and the whole team were friendly and helpful. The house was right in front of the beach with the most beautiful view. In the evenings there was also a security officer on the grounds which was a great asset. I would recommend the Leerdam house to anyone!

Well located, good sea view in a very quiet cul-de-sac. Restaurants are within walking distance. Well finished and very well equipped. Can highly recommend it.
We have enjoyed the long beach walks in perfect weather conditions with almost no wind. La Baleine, with its friendly staff, was the perfect little hideaway!
The downside was we had to be ten hours out of the first place and they only had a place for us after one in the afternoon in the other place so we just had to make our own way and decided to go home instead, so that was very weak.
Spent 3 nights at Paternoster. It’s a working fishing village and the property is perfectly positioned to watch the fisherman launch and retrieve their boats, plus easy access to the beach, restaurants and village itself. As you have great openness to views of the beach so do the people who are walking the coast path have a view of you - smart positioning of blinds etc. provided reasonable privacy.
