We had an awesome stay. The host was the best we have had, he made sure we were comfortable and had what we needed.
The owner goes the extra mile for his guests. Special Christmas breakfast packed by himself in each visitor's fridge. Staff super helpful, laundry included in your stay, and rooms are cleaned daily. Lovely stay.

The accommodation is perfectly located in Saldanha and was very close to everything I needed to visit. The accommodation was clean and tidy and certainly met my expectations. The breakfast was also deliciously prepared. The bathroom is a bit on the small side and really big people may struggle to move in and out of the shower. The management could perhaps think of providing more and also bigger towels. Can really highly recommend it.

Definitely, a place to recommend. Nice and cosy. Next to the restaurant and pub if you want to have a drink and don't have to drive. Friendly landlord and staff. Great breakfast. Will definitely book again if in town.

La Capitaine is a home away from home. You have everything you need at your fingertips. The rooms are cleaned daily and beautifully decorated. We had DStv in our rooms and were served a delicious breakfast every morning. With a breathtaking view of the lagoon from the stoep. Thank you Ryno for making us feel so welcome. The guest house quickly becomes a comfortable home for young and old. All facilities are available, it is a neat, clean, elegant and comfortable. The beautiful view over the bay is beautiful and the central location makes exploring the surrounding villages easy and effective. The breakfast in the morning consists of a variety for everyone. Laundry service available, thanks for that. Wi-Fi always on, units are equipped to prepare light meals in. Security is excellent, lights in and around premises even during load shedding. Many thanks to Rayno and his capable team for a pampering holiday. We will definitely visit again.

La Capitaine, what can I say, except that it is an incredibly nice place. Rayno really made us feel very much at home. I would recommend La Capitaine to any person. Rooms were neat, breakfast was top notch. Rayno communicated with us so well, it felt like we had known each other for years. I would stay there again anytime.

Rayno is a professional host who cares a lot about his guests. He was very helpful. We were made to feel very welcome. He talks interestingly to any age group and impressed my father who is in his 80s with his knowledge and information about the area. Thank you also Rayno for the nice breakfast. We enjoyed our visit and would love to come back.
We lacked nothing at La Capitaine. Everything you need is there. Good breakfast, clean rooms, nice big rooms. The kitchen in the rooms a winner. Secure parking. Braai facilities were good, nice veranda with a view of the bay.
We don't leave until Friday.

From the time we got there to our last day it was really, really fun. Breakfast was fantastic. They put a lot of effort into our little girl. Could push Rayno's button at any time. Will go back again anytime.
The visit was great, the place is close to shopping centre, play area for kids and the beach. There is a restaurant right next door to the Guest House, which serves good food. Owner of Guest House was very helpful,very hands on and checked on us. Will definitely visit again.

Good location, but no fans or air conditioners and not indicated as such on the website. Carpets also need attention.
Love the kitchen that is available, you wouldn't want to eat out. The hot tub was definitely a bonus!
La Capitaine is neat and well appointed. I took the breakfast and continued to eat. However, this was not necessary as the basic kitchen was well equipped. I could cook for myself if I wanted to. I went swimming and cycling and didn't feel unsafe.
