31 guests' feedbackAlbeit a real winter's weekend staycation, which was much needed by everyone, we had an extremely pleasant stay! We all caught up on sleep lost and stories to share, while playing games and watching the Olympics - lots of family time is now on the books!
We had a wonderful time at this beautiful place. There was no need to bring anything with you, not even a potjie pot. They have a number 3, a wide range of beautiful glasses, a double door stand up fridge freezer, an ice machine as well as a dishwasher, and even a washing machine if you are staying longer.
It was my 2nd time staying here. We love the modernity, space, and the comfort of the house. It definitely feels like home. It caters for all your needs. We will visit continuously. The kids enjoy the cul-de-sac to play in and the jacuzzi to relax in. Each room comes with its own ensuite, and that's amazing – no one bothers the next person! We love this house. Can't wait to book our next visit. Sonja and Andrea are amazing, extremely helpful, and friendly.
We had a great stay for sure. The house is beautiful with each room their own bathroom. We also really enjoyed the veranda with outdoor barbecue, and because we were a large group, there was enough space for everyone to sit and chat. The kitchen is equipped with everything you can think of, beautiful crockery. I hope that the next person will take good care of their house.
The house is nicely furnished and well equipped with all the necessities. We really enjoyed the braai area and will definitely use La Chateau Moeries again.
The house was beautiful. However, it is not suitable for parties. The neighbours are close by, and you're not allowed to make any noise after 9pm.
We enjoyed our stay and wish we could have stayed longer. The house was well-equipped with everything we needed. Would love to stay longer next time. Communication was prompt.
Very nice stay, we could use 60/60 from Checkers there ourselves. Didn't even need to go to the shops at all. Will definitely go again.
The owners thought of everything, we lacked nothing. The dishwasher and washing machine make things very convenient, it is spacious for a large amount of people and children. And then there's another backup for power outages and free Wi-Fi. We had a wonderful stay.
We were 3 families with 5 children in total. The house is so well appointed with everything needed. The children loved having their own house upstairs. Good location near the sea.
We were there on a freezing cold weekend as a family to celebrate a 40th. We were blown away not only with how beautiful the house is, but the fact that they thought of everything. Name it and it's there. It is especially very child-friendly. Plates and plastic glasses for little ones, games and toys, even the upstairs area served as a playroom. The power system put in to combat loadshedding was just as handy. During our visit the power was off more than on and it didn't bother us because there were lights, TV, gas stove and kettle. The only complaint I would say is that the water was mostly cold, partly because the power was off so often, but also there are 4 bathrooms and keeping the water hot with solar power goes but struggles. And again, we were there on the coldest weekend of the year. This won't be a problem at all in the warmer months. It was definitely worth every penny and we all agreed that we will definitely be back.
The house has everything you need. The rooms are tastefully furnished. I will definitely go back again. We hope the jacuzzi will be sorted out next time.

Wow, what an wonderful weekend away with our family at the beautiful home. The house was clean, beautiful and has everything that you need for your stay. We will definitely recommend any family, even with your children, to stay at this lovely home. Just one little thing that I would recommend to the owners is to place the Jacuzzi under cover, so that it can be enjoyed in winter season, because you kind of pay for that spoil and then are unable to utilise it when it rains. Other than the above, it was great, and oh, not to forgot the client service was top! Thank you!

Very lovely place very tidy and very peaceful atmosphere definitely if you want to have a holiday away from busy city and roads.
Enjoyed the time very much.
We had a bad experience, our beach towels and men's swimming shorts were stolen from the line the second day we arrived there. we thought it was a safe area and did not think they would steal our stuff. Other than that the house is comfortable and spacious and well equipped with everything. Was very impressed with that. Also, I think the bathrooms need doors for more privacy.
Fantastic house in a nice neighborhood. We just couldn't use the jacuzzi because it never got hot and by the time we found out we couldn't contact the lady. Was too late in the evening. Just maybe want to say that they should put the jacuzzi under roof especially in winter times. You can't sit in a jacuzzi outside in the rain and wind.
La Chateau Moeries is a must! Most beautiful house and view over the bay. This is truly a 5 star unit.

Perfectly equipped and very nice house near the sea. Everything was very clean. Quiet and very relaxing environment.
We were a group of 12 (8 adults and 4 children) and thoroughly enjoyed our break at La Chateau Moeries. The house is in fantastic condition - fully equipped with everything one could possibly need, and all the finishes in all the rooms are top class. The rooms, bathrooms and living areas are also nice and spacious, even more than the photos on the website show. Our holiday was unfortunately cut short by Covid-19, but Sonja was continuously available and always friendly during all our communications. We will definitely be going back in the future, no doubt!
A beautiful, stylish house, fully equipped with everything one could need and more. Silver clean and very comfortable. Ideal for children too. Fantastic sunsets to be seen from the balcony and lovely patio, barbecue and Jacuzzi outside. We will visit again soon.

Everything was wonderful, the best self-catering accommodation we have ever visited. There is everything from an ice machine to a dishwasher. And everything was in perfect working order. Ideal for a large group of people but also for a romantic getaway for 2. The hot tub, smart TV and WiFi were a big bonus. One can see the sea from the top floor veranda. Thank you very much, it was a privilege to be able to stay in such a beautiful place, thank you for making your beautiful house available for people to stay in.
The house was very neat. The kitchen was very spacious which is awesome for bigger groups. The jacuzzi was a nice touch to the place. The beach is right in front of you. Overall it was splendid.
The accommodation was absolutely wonderful. however the service received from Maryna was distasteful and unprofessional. I think because of this we would not return to this accommodation which is such a pitty.
