Neat, clean, friendly staff, delicious breakfast. Access road unfortunately very bad.
Delicious dishes perfectly prepared. Staff very friendly, helpful and professional. The rooms are neat and comfortable. With air conditioning, you don't notice the bushveld heat.

We were only there for one day, but wish we could have stayed longer. We did the "sunset tour" and were surprised with a private dinner on our balcony with incredible service. We were also surprised with a private breakfast the next morning, again with incredible service. The staff were very helpful and incredibly friendly. The entire lodge is incredibly peaceful and perfect for a romantic getaway. I will definitely recommend La Kruger to you!

The Jacques and his staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The accommodation is beautiful. We were pleasantly surprised and will definitely break away to La Kruger Lodge again, but definitely for longer than 3 days!
My wife and I had an incredibly nice time and the experience exceeded our expectations. Maybe just suggest that the owner does not become incapacitated in front of guests. So also my highest appreciation to the staff who treated us fantastically, you make every penny worth it. Food was out of heaven.

The place has a nice atmosphere, friendly people, good food and is very neat and beautiful.
The accommodation was expensive when considering what you get: a bed to sleep in and an ice col pool. We had the most awful sewage smell in our room which made it impossible to open windows or to sit on the veranda. Even after we moved, the smell of sewerage was unbearable. We weren't allowed any refreshments in our room.
We stayed at La Lruger for 2 nights. Our room was neat and clean, just a pity that there isn't a TV. The bathroom is tiny (because of the massive bathroom cupboard that was built in). You have to brush by it to reach the shower or toilet. Breakfast on both mornings wasn't prepared per our order and cold every time. The fact is that there isn't even a choice of white or brown bread, only health bread that was toasted rock-hard. And no cappuccino. We thought the boma would at least be lit at night, so we can sit and relax after a day of exploring the Kruger, but that was never doen. The place is quite beautiful and neat and is maintained very well.

We received an immediate warm welcome at La Kruger. Room was clean and comfortable. It is a small, very peaceful and quite lodge so it required a mindset change for us to adapt. We were escaping the mad rush in Johannesburg. The breakfast was fresh and it was prepared well. The dinner is an optional extra. Its a set menu. A starter, main and a dessert. Even though it was selected for us, it was prepared very well in a romantic setting. The service was excellent. The price of the dinner changes, you have to keep asking for information such as pricing and enquiring about facilities. It should be made freely available. We weren't given the option of paying cash after each order, as the fee was automatically added to the room account. We expected a bill and the amount came as surprise on checking out. Being transparent with pricing and hotel rules would make a huge difference. We learnt them along the way. The coffee was freely available but it wasn't great. The cookies were a nice touch but sadly we couldn't eat them, as wheat is not a part of our diet.
Rooms very small. Shower never worked, first hot then freezing cold. We have visited other places in Marloth which were really much better.

This is a must for anyone who wants to get away and take a break. Away from it all and yet close to everything. The lodge wraps you in hospitality. The professional staff does everything to not only satisfy your expectations of your stay, but to exceed them.
La Kruger was a lovely venue, right in the bush! Felt very comfortable there! The staff went out of their way to attend to us & meet our needs. Food was good. A place I will surely return to.

Stunning place!
La Kruger Lifestyle Lodge is a beautiful place! The people are friendly and helpful. The food is delicious. And the setting is wonderful, with animals walking between the houses. And don't miss the activities they offer - especially the elephant safari is highly recommended! If you want to go to the wildlife park for the day, the Malelane Gate and Crocodile Bridge Gate are both very close. Wish we had more than just a weekend to stay there!

As the Lodge is relatively small, the service is very personal and truly excellent. The luxury forest rooms are really very comfortable and offer very good value for money. I will definitely stay there again.

Friendly service, flawless handling of the arrangements for visits to the KNP. Neat rooms and nice atmosphere. If I choose another place instead of LA Kruger, it will be to have a place where I can grill my own meat (no facilities at LA Kruger for 'self catering').
I had a nice stay with my partner at the lodge, the food was nice and the people were friendly, making you feel very comfortable. It was an ideal place for me and my partner, we needed time off to refresh our minds in the wilderness.
