It was only one night, but the accommodation was excellent. Breakfast was also very good.
Firstly, I didn't get the Executive room I booked, but was moved the next day to the Executive room. The rooms are clean, but have very old furniture and decor, the bed in the Executive room is also slept through. Nice sea view, in the photos it looks like you are almost on the beach, especially if you have never been to Umhlanga, but it is 4 km away from the beach. The breakfast was very nice and the staff are very friendly and helpful, but for the money you pay per night I feel it is not worth it.
Booked and paid for a sea view room as well. Room with sea view, as advertised on website is misleading.
The parking space is very limited and narrow. The property needs TLC, the shower had mildew on the outside, linen is torn and must be replaced. Aircon in the room needs service, on 19 it leaked water onto the bed.
The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was also divine. I will definitely book in to stay there again in future.
The facilities are excellent and the location is ideal for any type of activity.

Weekend getaway on a girls' trip, and the stay was amazing, staff friendly, room beautiful and so was the place. Walk to the beach takes 15 minues and drive less then 5. Would definitely return to La Loggia.
We were disappointed in the small room and only double bed for the rate we paid.
Very good place for a short stay. Could do some work on their cleanliness and beauty of place and owner could be a bit more professional. Other than that, the place was cute with a nice view of the sea and the breakfast was delicious.
We had a nice stay however she needs to upgrade her beds they a bit old as well as an upgrade on small features such as painting her place and upgrading bar fridges

The stay was short and the service was of acceptable standard.
Accommodation very neat and the area has everything you'd need. They are professional enough to leave you to your own privacy. Room equipped with everything you'd need and it surely is value for money.
First of all, I booked a room with a sea view a long time ago. The day of check-in I get a text from the owner Ingrid saying sorry Susan but I made a mistake and she doesn't have a room with a sea view but she will give a discount. The room faces the back of the house, no view of any kind. The room and furniture are also very old, the mattress is already flat and everything smells musty. Next morning when I get up there is no hot water, not even lukewarm water. Apparently no one in the place had hot water. Really not a very nice experience and that for an upmarket place like Umhlanga. Not professional at all.
Room is too small for two persons
Was made to feel very welcome. Nice view of the sea and you can see ships. Swimming pool and self-help bar. Food was pleasant and price reasonable. Would recommend it.
Rooms are spacious, but decor and furniture is a bit outdated. There is a sea view, but it's not really all that great. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Once there, the service was good with check-in, the room has a lot of space and the facilities are very good. Neat and friendly.
Booking was easy and everything went well. I arrived an hour early for check-in (called first) and they let me check in. I appreciate it! Rooms are on the small side (king size beds too big!), but functional. Smaller issues were that no fresh milk was available at the coffee station, bedside light is low beam, the bathroom is not professionally finished and the instant coffee in the restaurant is no longer powder (solid block), etc. Room has fridge. Good breakfast. But overall good value for money and if you have a sea view room it's a very nice location.
Had a "mix up" on arrival - we've been given a single room after which we specifically requested and confirmed via email that we are two separate people - on business there so separate rooms/beds are required (before we paid). Lady (owner) said it's no problem it's an apartment and will be fine. Reception lady/cleaning lady got owner on phone once we arrived and saw the room, said she'll move us to a different place (a few blocks away) that got separate rooms. Unnecessary delay. Accommodation was not bad, all in all everything was average.
Our stay was good but not excellent. La Loggia could perhaps renovate the place a bit and the stairs to our room were very inconvenient and difficult to walk up there with luggage. The breakfast was delicious and well presented.
The place was safe and welcoming and the staff was friendly. Rooms where clean and fresh all the time and the owner was nice and friendly.
Nice lady who is very hospitable and clean, comfortable accommodation. Breakfast good!
All that was a nuisance here was that some of the businessmen who were also guests were quite loudly discussing their work matters in the common areas where others want to relax. Here and there children were also quite rowdy, but apart from that La Loggia offers excellent accommodation.
5-star quality, breakfast very good, staff friendly and helpful. We enjoyed it very much.
Besides being moved between locations on two different occasions, service was of a good standard.
The staff are so friendly, and the place is so neat & clean. Everything is up to standard. I'd really like to go back and stay for another week or so.
Very clean place. I found the bed too soft and feel the windows require block outs.
