Enjoyed our stay at La Luna. The house needs a bit of maintenance on the outside, but it's not too noticeable. We enjoyed the lovely swimming pool and great views.

We had a really nice stay. The view is breathtaking! There were unexpected extras which were pleasantly surprising - free wood, bottle of wine etc. Bedding in 2 rooms suffered as if not replaced since previous visitor left.

It's a decrepit house, neglected inside and outside. The pool overflow is broken, the trampoline is not usable, there are no usable umbrellas for the garden, and so on.

It was wonderful. Few things that are worth mentioning. There were a lot of mosquitoes and one friend had black bugs on her bed. This may have been due to the house being shut up for a while. Not sure. No kitchen scissors in the drawers. Other than those small things it was absolutely fabulous and we had a wonderful time. I have already recommended it to various friends who saw our photos go up on social media. I would certainly go there again.

Guest house was comfortable and well-equipped. Experienced a slightly unpleasant odor from one of the downstairs shower drains. House starting to look a little worse for wear. Decking needs replacing.

Best view ever. Something I would like to mention is that the place is somewhat smaller than the photos show, but that doesn't affect how nice it is there.

Anablanca was amazing, even during Covid and her personal travels, she did her best to ensure we were happy, Thelma the local presence was on call whenever we needed her.

If more than 4 people and looking for privacy and silence I would not recommend. Nothing has changed since we were there 2 years ago. Think it might be something the owners need to pay attention to. It needs some TLC. The uppermost room's shower leaks into the lower room. This can cause the wood to rot. There was also only one toilet roll per bathroom with no spare. Availability of small things like coffee, tea, sugar, milk and flash is something one expects for the price. A larger braai would be welcome. Otherwise, it is a very nice house and Thelma helped where she could. Will stay there again for sure.

Thelma, the lady who handed over the keys, was friendly and very helpful. The place is well situated and the kids had a ball of a time. Its tranquillity and peace was exactly what we needed.

If you are looking for a place where you hear, smell, taste and see the sea when you wake up every morning, La Luna is perfect! The house is spacious and very safe. A bit away from the busy parts of De Kelders. We had a great stay!

The house is ideally located with beautiful views of the ocean. The dogs and children enjoyed it. It's value for money.

I was disappointed in the stay. I think the rate does not justify the total package we received. The house's garden and grass are not maintained at all. There is no maintenance, which has not been done for some time, and this is particularly noteworthy for the following: The patio part, which is also made of wood, is torn apart and is dry and in my opinion there is a safety risk. The deck's wood is dry and light, and no fun at all. The maintenance of all wood items (which are actually everywhere) leaves much to be desired. The pool furniture is not treated and maintained at all. The large sliding doors at the front of the living room rain in incredibly. It also rains on the carpet and the wooden floors are rotten due to the the rainfall and the lack of maintenance. The white living room set was really dirty upon our arrival. It was only half creepy. We even lifted the cushions and brushed away old dirt as the old dirt also attracted ants. The cream-colored mat was also incredibly dirty upon arrival. Care is not taken with care. We could see it clearly with regard to the couches and also under the beds where the dust is already thick. The cleaning lady basically swapped the bedding and cleaned the bathrooms. It does not appear that it is cleaned properly the floors and under the beds. It is not mentioned at all that the two lower rooms join together. It was very uncomfortable. We were grateful for the clean bedding and towels and also the bathrooms which were nicely clean. The view was incredible and we really appreciated it. In my opinion, I just think that items like the sofas and rugs should be kept clean and the cleaning will need to be sharpened. I hope the owner is informed as well? Thank you very much.

La Luna Guesthouse has an incredible view! It is very peaceful and really neat inside. Thelma, the caretaker, was very nice. The house is equipped with an alarm which gave us peace of mind. However, the outside of the house, especially the wooden porch and swimming pool, needs attention. There is a piece of wood gone by the pool that exposes some of the fiberglass. There are also some boards that are broken and very uneven. With three small children, it made me very stressed because they could get hurt there. The lawn is completely dead and our children could not play there. Some of the attractions that justified the high rate for me were the daily cleaning service, the WiFi and full DStv. We were there for nine days and the cleaning service did not materialize on two days. The WiFi was only on for four days. This was a big problem for me as I had to work and the usual signal was not strong enough. So we had to drive into Gansbaai several times so that I could finish my work. We inquired with Thelma, she would take it up with the owners. However, nothing came of it. We also arranged to leave late on our last morning there. When we got up, however, the DStv was already switched off. We then left early. To summarize: We were very excited about our week in De Kelders and it was fun. However, the neglected exterior of the house and especially the extra services that were not received, left a sour taste in our mouths. Especially in light of the premium rate being asked.
