This discussion left a bitter taste. Upon our arrival in the afternoon, it was clear that the apartment was not clean, or had not been serviced for a long time. I swept the floor and took pictures of the dirt that came out of every room, and that was right after we arrived. When my father went to bed that night, he felt sand in the bed. He called me to try to determine what was going on. I swept the sand and hair together and sent the agent a photo. Her arrogant behavior was really unwelcome. She tried to convince me that the sheets and apartment were indeed clean and free of sand, even though I sent her the photo, as if we were going to fill our own bed with sand? Just so my parents who are both 90 won't sleep well? Really? I have all the WhatsApp messages with her and also her voicemail. She said she knew there were stains on some sheets, but she didn't have others. The linen also had quite a few different colors, not at all pretty like the photos. The cleaner who arrived the next day at 12 o'clock with her "friend", was equally "don't care" about the whole situation and said that it was not her problem and that she had not been to the apartment for a long time. We had to adjust our day and lose time to accommodate this service, something that was supposed to be done before we arrived. The equipment in the apartment is only of poor/poor quality and everything looks old. Nothing fits together and the hangers for dishcloths are broken. The pots in the kitchen need serious inspection and some need replacing. The sofas need cleaning and are very uncomfortable. The braai area and decaying grill were disgustingly dirty. The agent then told me that grills are not washed at the sea otherwise they rust!! Wow! I managed a hotel by the sea and everything was always spotlessly cleaned, including barbecue grills. But you expect me to scrub it myself with what? Before I can grill. Really? I took pictures of it. The bird droppings on the porch were a few days old and there were cockroaches in the kitchen and bathroom. There are no directions for the TV. The agent said she didn't know how the system worked but that she would ask the maintenance man to help because she bought a new TV on takealot and he installed it. He came but didn't know what was going on. Hours later he came back with his young son to see what was going on.

The toilet pot was dripping, if you shower in the bath the water was dripping from the shower panel on the floor. You literally had to mop the floor before someone else could use the bathroom. The bathroom door could close/lock properly.

We had to wait for access to apartment looking for the key. Necessary information was not passed on in advance. On arrival at the premises we were informed of tumble dryer being out of order. The bad smell in apartment is because of dirty mop. On our previous visit in 2019, the place was in a much better and tidy condition. So it was not at all what we expected. Place needs attention!

Beautiful location - could see the beach from balcony. Secure and quiet complex, we were group of 5 but more than enough space inside apartment to just hang around as well. Close to Langeberg mall. We enjoyed it tremendously!

We had a nice stay. The shower wall leaks and then the bathroom floor is very wet. A better bathroom mat can be purchased. The cutlery is not very good, but overall the apartment is comfortable and the location is great.

Excellent location of apartment - walking distance, see and hear the sea. The ad makes no mention of purchasing power to be purchased by the customer himself. It's only communicated after confirmation of booking. Suggestion is to also mention this on the advertisement, so that prospective customers can make informed choices. Communication was good and complete and instructions easy to follow. Another suggestion is to perhaps leave the key with security the day customers arrive - this will make the key collection process easier for the customer and also eliminate additional phone calls and driving and arrangements. The boiler did not work. We left a note. We used the microwave to boil coffee water. The apartment is basic, well furnished and we were able to have a nice barbecue on the veranda.

Things was not in place like sun umbrella for patio table braai grill was dirty and broken wont braai my meat on there. Beds was very uncomfortable. It really needs to be updated for your money to be worth it really.

We always rent another flat in La Palma for more or less the same rate but it was not available, so we booked C12. The other flat is always immaculately clean when we arrive there and is also better equipped than C12. We arrived at 12h45 and asked if we can get the key a bit earlier but the lady told us that she was in town and still had to pick up her son. At 13h45 we asked again as we had frozen meat and food with us, and the lady told us that we have to wait until 2 o'clock. We waited in front of her house and she gave us the key just after 14h00. When we arrived at the flat some of the floors were still wet, it was clear that they had just finished cleaning the flat and it must have been done in a hurry. There were pieces of food on the coffee table and some of the crockery in the cupboards was also not clean. There was dust on some of the skirtings and the braai outside on the balcony was also not properly cleaned. When you shower the water leaked on the floor and the whole bathroom floor is wet after you have showered.

No electricity on arrival. We were advised that we would have to buy electricity (a first for us) but the owner/landlord could at least buy a few units to ensure that tenants don't arrive in a dark apartment. Stove was dirty, leftover food from previous tenants was still in the stove. Dirty cup in the cupboard. Advertisement was misleading, apartment not on the second floor as the advertisement indicated. Grill rusted, not fit for human consumption at all.

Enjoyed visiting. However, the tiles on the balcony were a big risk due to poor breeding. Was reported and security observed the cracks as well as took photos. However, no feedback received from property management.

The service was absolutely superb - from start to finish. No trouble getting the key - all instructions very clear. Very nice place to stay - will definitely recommend and use again. Maybe the owner just needs to look at the shower - it leaked between the partition section and the bath (I suspect) - because the floor was very wet after each person showered - and it wasn't because of splashing. This will definitely not prevent us from staying there again - nothing that a towel can't do. Thank you very much - we enjoyed it very much.

Nice place. Funny thing was the DStv connection. I used the wire from the wall on my full package PVR, but some of the channels just had no signal. So we could only watch about 5 channels. Other than that it was very pleasant.
