Very friendly people! Clean, tidy, everything I needed and everything worked. Very comfortable bed. Meals are also offered at extra cost, had a very nice dinner (steak).

For someone traveling to the Kgalagadi, La Palma is conveniently located on the route to the North. Comfortable, clean and with a very helpful owner and friendly staff. Thank you very much.
My suggestion is that the owner invests in entertainment facilities such as a swimming pool and DStv, instead of eTV. The bathroom must have towel rails. Four sleepers to include space to store the clothing and bags.

Our stay for 2 days was very pleasant. We were very kindly received by Werner and Cindie and immediately felt at home. The room is spacious and practically furnished with a lovely bed and the air conditioner was a blessing. Werner immediately made alternative braai facilities available to us, as there was a necessary upgrade going on near the existing braai area. Cindie prepared a delicious breakfast for us and it was delivered to our room on time. If we visit your area again, La Palma is definitely our home. Thank you very much.

The owner assigned our rooms himself and made sure everything was clean and tidy. We left early morning (4am) and he was willing to make arrangements for keys. He also contacted us before our arrival to check if we needed single or double beds in the rooms.
Room was neat. Unfortunately, the air conditioning didn't really help and it was very hot, especially with loadshedding.

I am an agricultural consultant who wants to leave early to conduct field studies and enter my findings on the computer at night. The accommodation is spacious and functional with a table as a work or dining area (food can be served on request in the room). Breakfast is also ideal. The food was also very tasty.
No one was there when we arrived. Intercom at the gate did not work. We had to phone the owner and after a further wait the gate was eventually opened. A young girl came out and opened a room for us. Said her father would be there in ten minutes. The room was not what we had booked and paid for. It was a basic 2-sleeper. The owner had still not arrived after 20 minutes. Rooms were eventually sorted out, but it should have been correct in the first place. They had to prepare the correct room after we complained so it wasn't a case of being given the wrong room by mistake as the owner claims.
After 8 hours of driving it was nice to walk in and experience the tranquility, friendly faces and a tidy apartment. We had a great stay, even if it was only for 1 night.
Everything was great and in place, people expected us and the room and bedding were very neat and clean. Very safe. Staff friendly and hospitable. Would recommend anytime to anyone looking to stay there.

The people who booked room 1 were so noisy and drunk. They kept us awake most of the night. It was extremely unpleasant. The following morning, guests from room 3, 4 and 5 were all standing and talking loudly in front of our bedroom window and that also disturbed us. When I opened the door and asked them to keep it down, they just continued to talk and ignored my request. Such guests make beautiful places unpleasant. When we complained to Werner, who is in charge at La Palma, he apologised for their behaviour and one could see his honesty in his apology.
Werner's hospitality is excellent. He went out of his way to make our stay pleasant. His staff is also very friendly and helpful.

The unit was beautiful, clean and met the needs of each of our family members. The AC was a winner as it was very hot. The owner can for sure think about adding a splash pool, it will definitely be used and not be overlooked.

Place is a bit noisy with the busy traffic late at night. Good quality beds. Equipped with pots and pans but no two plate stove, only a microwave.
Not well equipped. Not a single easychair. The TV is out of order and no wineglasses. Bedlamps would have been nice in the evening. The room light has to be switched of at the door and in winter a little carpet at the bed would be nice.
We were 6 motorcyclists who spent the night there, because we were doing a circuitous tour. Werner was an absolutely outstanding host and went out of his way to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Will definitely, if in that area again, spend the night there!

This is a brand new guesthouse. Beautiful and clean with lovely linen and a pleasure to stay over at. I would definitely stay here again. There are 2 small things the owner is busy fixing: a shelf in the bathroom to put one's toiletry bag on and the card machine which would only arrive the next day for card payments. I informed him of these minor things and he said he'd get to them immediately. This really was superb value for money and comes highly recommended. What a pleasure!
