A solar panel system as well as a backup gas generator has been installed, providing backup power to the lights, TVs in the rooms, Wi-Fi, electric gates, toasters, coffee-machine and hot water urns. The air-conditioning, kettles and hairdryers are not to be used during power outages. Gas geysers ensure that hot water is always available.
Each room features air-conditioning and tea- and coffee-making facilities. Guests have access to a communal indoor braai area, a communal dining area where they can enjoy their complimentary English breakfast, a communal swimming pool with day loungers, and a bar with lounging.

Fantastic! Wish I could give seven stars. Service, accommodation and breakfast from the top shelves. Will not spend the night anywhere else in Oudtshoorn. Congratulations on an excellent guest house.
