Great location and proximity to the town square. The balcony is over the local shop and restaurant downstairs but the shrubbery and trees provide a nice provate setting. . With the good, there is the bad. We did have issues during our stay with power cuts during non-load shedding periods, no running water from about 7 pm to 9 am and there was no information regarding the Wifi anywhere in the rooms. None of these items were communicated to us.
Very convenient location and a warm apartment in winter. Fireplace does its job nicely. We never used the car the whole weekend because we could walk everywhere.

My husband and I were treated very kindly from the beginning. The lady is very cute. Love the place to stay and would definitely recommend. Privacy is somewhat of a small problem, any person just walks up the stairs while we are sitting on the balcony. I would recommend someone maybe put like a chain or something at the bottom of the stairs that might say something like "PRIVATE - NO ENTRY" But otherwise it's an incredibly nice place VERY close to als. SO you can park your car and walk everywhere.

Well located and very tidy.
We parked the car and didn't need to drive once during our 3-night stay. Als and more are walking distance. Very quiet and peaceful. Clean and tidy with a friendly cat waiting for you after every shopping session.
Is there anywhere else to stay in Clarens? We love the self catering option, fluffy pillows and the being in the centre of everything. This is always our first choice when looking for accommodation for two people.
We are pensioners. We had to find someone to carry our luggage up the stairs. The unit is not serviced and certain appliances are not working as they should. Would recommend for younger people wanting to eat and drink in the village.
Being in the center of town makes it an ideal place to stay.

La Poste is an excellent self-catering accommodation for a romantic break or just for a nice break. The location is excellent to visit all the restaurants and shops by foot. The unit is efficiently furnished for self-catering and is very neat and clean.

La Poste Apartment offers enough for a lovely break from the hectic city. Views over the mountains are beautiful. Would only recommend for a canopy to grill under on rainy days. Otherwise we had a great time in Clarens.

We have been visiting La Poste for the past 6 years and it is always the first place that comes to mind for a getaway opportunity.
A cleaning service will be welcome for the tariff.

Feel slightly like a European stay ─ wonderful experience and everything was within walking distance. The only negative point is that the police cells are adjacent to the building and there was a drunkard locked up who screamed and made noise throughout the night. I also assume it was an exception rather than a rule.
