We had a warm reception. The room was cool despite loadshedding and extreme heat. The garden, of course, was out of the book. The place is walking distance from the beach and shopping center with everything you need, and we will definitely want to stay there again. The owners and the 2 pets are friendly.

Not 100% self-catering, will not be able to make your own food there, but will be able to grill. Other than that it is the ideal place for a few nights stay. The owners live on the same premises, are very helpful and very friendly people, do not hesitate to help if necessary. Unfortunately no canopy or anything like that for one's car.

The location is such that you only need to drive for the essentials, beautifully furnished, booking was very comfortable, address was easy to find, everything was ready for our arrival and stay. On arrival we were met by Marie-France and Tumi her husband. They were most welcoming and explained the layout of the what-nots and do's of our stay. Our room was so inviting and fresh with all the amenities possible. We never felt afraid or nervous of anyone breaking in as they had 2 big Labradors guarding La Residence. Marie-France asked us daily if we were happy and satisfied with everything. We would have loved to have the means to have stayed longer. I would not hesitate to go there every year.

The accommodation was good value for money, and the owners are very friendly. The unit was pretty neat and clean. The roof fan came on by itself and made the room cold, especially since it is winter time. But the two large dogs that kept threatening to bite us caused us to be too afraid to go to our vehicle to get something. I also stepped in dog poop which I then stepped into the room - and then had to clean up. Even when I went to return the key, the dog threatened to bite me. This was the last impression of my stay when I left. We were grateful to get out of there. "But he's just making noise" is not good enough.
