There is nothing wrong with the unit. It was clean and tidy and basic. There were not enough cutlery or crockery. I know theft is a problem at guesthouses, but then I'd rather pay a deposit and make sure there's more than one teaspoon in the unit. I also know that most guest houses choose the "hospitality" package on DSTV, but it's very pathetic. I will not stay here again.
The accommodation was comfortable and tidy.
Rooms were clean and tidy and more than we expected. Service was extremely friendly.

A little trouble with rain, but was soon sorted out.
Near shopping centers, wonderful.
Only problem was a loud party over the road. The party got louder in the early hours. We had to ask them to keep the music down and the response was abusive. After our suggestion that we let the police decide on the reasonableness of our request, the music was turned off.
We only stayed overnight for one night, from Kgalagadi. Peaceful and quiet, room for car and trailer. Very friendly hostess.
Units just need a little attention. There is a problem with the door, the faucet in the kitchen is loose. Kettle goes on and off and slept on the pillows.
The cleaner needs to disinfect the bathroom with the overwhelming urine smell.
There just weren't enough knives and forks. Fortunately, we had already decided to have dinner at a restaurant.

Nobody there to hand over keys, we had to collect them out of a plastic bag left at the gate, following phone instructions. We arrived just after 17h00. During the entire stay we did not speak to the host or staff. We dropped the key off in a box when we left. The main gate was not maintained properly and made an ungodly noise whenever a car left or entered and some people arrived after 22:00 and some left at 4am! The furnishings and fittings are of a very good quality, however, maintenance is clearly lacking (lights and taps, some furniture). Same goes for housekeeping - clearly no supervision and attention to detail, kitchen cupboards were sticky and there were quite a few grubby corners. Scatter pillow covers in need of replacing, curtains need replacing/washing, tatty ironing board standing in sitting room area, etc. Bedding and towels were clean, but we had to hunt through the rooms for a second set of towels as only one set was set out in the room with the double bed. For a self-catering unit the kitchen was minimalistic, to be kind. The unit sleeps 6, there was hardly enough cutlery and crockery for 2. Security was good and the unit was very spacious, so are the grounds, which could also do with a good clean-up and make over of the ornamental vases and flower pots. This could be a really lovely place if it was run differently. Needs an engaged, on-site manager with an eye for details and a good handyman. If it was in ship shape, the price would be justified. As is, we would not recommend it at the present rate.
We had a two-bedroom chalet. Our spare bedroom was locked and was let to other people without our knowledge or consent. I was not happy sharing my unit with rowdy strangers. Extremely disappointed.

Could do with more crockery and cutlery. Stove with oven but no oven bowls. Also lounge area was very cold. A heater in winter will be useful. Welcome could be better as no explanation was given, e.g checking out process. WiFi would be useful especially for business travel.

The accommodation was what we expected.
There was only one chair and we were two people, so one had to sit on the bed the whole time. The chair was also dirty and the headboard was badly weathered and creepy. The rubber of the shower door was also broken. In the closet lay a lace curtain and two cracked glass tops as well as an ironing board. The cutlery is chipped and not in good condition. The air rail is not adjustable.

Gate doesn't close automatically so our neighbors went in and out without closing the gate. So we had to close it and regularly check if they did close it. All the keys are also just lying in a cubicle that has no lock or anything on it so anyone can just take a key. Our neighbors also hung out until late at night and played music and there were no rules about that. They also seemed to get visitors in and out. There isn't a guard or anything monitoring it. Our dissatisfaction was communicated but we received no feedback at all.
Correct amount of breakables and cutlery for the number of people in the house. All the security gates must have keys and be able to lock. The grounds outside need to be cleaned more often.

A very neat, comfortable and clean B&B. There should be an equal number of towels, cutlery and crockery for the number of guests. No travel toiletries (soap shampoo etc) and not adequate bedside lamps. Left over vegetables in fridge. Very kindly informed us of the medicine which we left behind.
The owner wasn't available. The fact that the key and control for the gate were left on the gate pillar, certainly created the impression that safety is not high on the agenda (this may be a perception of me as a city dweller where safety is critical). There was a group in one of the units that played loud music until after 10 pm in the evening. There was no dish soap or dish towels in the unit, which is supposed to be self-catering. The unit seems a little neglected and like it needs attention. The proximity of the main street causes truck traffic to be disruptive.
We were not welcomed in any way and the staff did not know which unit was reserved for us. There was no electricity available, so the fridge was hot and we were asked to wait outside. Cutlery is old and chipped. No table to sit and eat. Absolute minimum provision to advertise as self catering. Not a pleasant experience.
No reception, location gives a feeling of insecurity. The key was left for us on the pillar by the gate. Difficulty contacting the owner. The website was innocent, the alternative is they find other accommodation for which you will then pay. My feeling is, any person advertises without inspecting the website and goes solely on feedback.
Yvonne is a kind, efficient hostess who goes out of her way to ensure her guests' comfort and convenience. The guest house is very tidy, well located and safe. I will definitely use it again in the future. Thank you Yvonne.
The staff received us very kindly and immediately accompanied us to our chalet. The chalet was neat and clean. It was very cold and it would have been nice to have an air conditioner that worked and was sufficient to keep us a little warm. They have good braai facilities just outside the chalet. Very important these days is that the parking is safe. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Guesthouse was adequate for our need. Kuruman environment was not what we expected.
The double room we were given only has a low wooden partition between the toilet facilities and the sleeping area, which offers absolutely no privacy. The room is located directly next to the road and with the main street in Kuruman currently blocked off during repairs, all the traffic goes through the neighborhood and is therefore very noisy and disturbing. The attractive but transparent curtains in the room let the light of the security lights of the enclosure shine through, which also disturbs one's peace. Although marketed as a double room, there was only a single cup, glass and cutlery available and there was no soap at the sink or shower facilities.
This was truly an excellent guest house, we couldn't have asked for better, brilliant.

The friendly welcome by host was exceptional. I felt immediately at home and parking almost at the front door was a bonus. I got there late and was leaving early the next morning, so I didn't feel like unloading everything from my vehicle. Staff is very friendly and immediately made us feel at home. Place is very cutely furnished and tidy. My dogs went along and I never for one moment got the feeling that they were not welcome. I had a wonderful sleep over there.
