Set in a large sub-tropical garden, the pool deck enjoys wonderful views a little oasis within which to unwind from a long day's work; to use as a base for exploring the Kruger Park and Panorama Route, or a convenient stop over on the way to Mozambique and Swaziland.
Breakfast is served under our open air thatched lapa on the pool terrace, with panoramic views across the Nature Reserve a peaceful and enchanting start to any day. We try to make our breakfast a cut above the normal bacon and eggs of most guest houses, we serve one of eight deliciously different freshly cooked special’s together with an extensive self-service cold buffet. Vegetarian breakfasts are catered for upon request.
Our pool terrace enjoys magnificent views of the Nature Reserve and mountains over which the sun sets, a great spot to kick back with a relaxing sun-downer. Fully stocked minibars are provided in the rooms, or if you prefer ask a friendly staff member to have a drink brought to you pool side. Swimming towels and loungers are provided and the pool can be used any time of the day or night, so you can soak up the African sun or stars. Enjoy a stroll in our lush sub-tropical garden strewn with huge granite boulders. We have an enchanting area for log-fires and braai in the garden.

We stayed at La Roca for a week while visiting Nelspruit and surroundings. The guest house is very neat and clean and offers a peaceful atmosphere. The people are friendly and went out of their way to accommodate us with our 5 month old baby. Had a good barbecue and swam, and ate a nice breakfast every morning. We had a great stay, thank you!
For the same premium, there are several guest houses in the area that offer much better. The guest house is in urgent need of an upgrade. The breakfast area is very nice and the breakfast was very good.
We will absolutely return again. Wonderful place and lovely couldn't have asked for more. The hosts are the best, breakfast is awesome! We were sad to leave! 5 stars all the way!

The place is beautiful. Rooms are spacious and so nice. The view from the swimming pool is breathtaking. The swimming pool is beautiful, cooled off nicely. Food was delicious, service was great.
We were kindly received by the staff and taken to our room. The room was neat and clean. They went out of their way to also give us dinner as it was a long weekend and they don't normally serve dinner away. The management met us at breakfast and was very friendly. We regretted that we only booked there for one night.

I found the accommodation very basic. There were no extra 2-prong power points available - I just had to take the one from the hair dryer. There was no remote to turn the TV on and off. There was also no more soft drink/drinks in the fridge. After a busy working day you just want to relax with a drink and there was nothing - only water and coffee.
Very neat. Friendly reception, friendly staff, very friendly owner and you feel at home. The room is equipped with everything you need and we really enjoyed the accommodation.

From the minute I arrived there were friendly staff members who made me feel very welcome. I felt very safe. There was also a panic button in the room and they paid attention to all the small things like musquito spray, Doom and extra water in the bathroom in case the water was cut off. I will definitely stay there again.
We were in Nelspruit for work and decided to spend the evening at LaRoca Guest House. The rooms are very neat and of top quality. The environment is very peaceful and quiet and one feels very safe there. The breakfast in the morning was very nice. The service that was offered there was excellent and I will definitely come back again as well as recommend the guest house to anyone.

What a lovely place. We were received at the car, the hospitality was incredible. Beautiful. Everything was well explained to us. It is truly a beautiful place with the most beautiful location.

Lovely guest house.
The rooms were excellent and spacious and the decor was nice. There were some niggling faults; like the TV that had no remote, and the shower that takes ages to heat up, and you also have to get into the bath to put the shower on. The breakfast was great, but I felt that it was served to late. The people attending you are very friendly and helpful.

We enjoyed La Roca, found the staff friendly, and found the room clean and modern, although maybe a little small. Otherwise it was a lovely stay, and we will definitely be back.

La Roca Guest House is beautiful, and well taken care of. It feels like home away from home. We really enjoyed our stay there. We went to relax and we got more than what we expected. Nelspruit is really good for taking a vacation. We plan on coming back again. Thank you for the service guys it was worth every cent.
