The room was comfortable and clean. Every evening was a pleasure to return to a room that was serviced during the day and ready to be used in the evening. The host was welcoming and helpful when we got there.

La Sal is a beautiful place in a quiet area with a nice view of the mountain. It is central and close to the high street's shops and the stunning white beach.

Only issues. Need a safety rail up those steep steps from the outside gate to the kitchen, especially if the tiles are wet! Also, the shower drain took some time to clear. Individual hand towels would have been nice too.
The host and his wife were incredibly helpful and kind. They made sure that we were comfortable and assisted with information on the area. The rooms and amenities are luxurious and have everything one needs. We stayed for 10 nights and had a fabulous time. The location is amazing, close to restaurants and activities, malls and grocery stores. I can highly recommend La Sal Guest House and will be back. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
What a lovely place, we enjoyed our short stay there. Our hosts are wonderful people. Raymond gave us the best advice regarding a restaurant in the area for dinner. It was the best food ever for both of us. The only reason I marked the safety as four stars is that our vehicle was parked in an open driveway overnight. Other than that, we will surely make use of their facility when we have to visit Cape Town.

There was no bath as shown in the pictures, and no communal braai. We waited outside with no one to open for us. There was no contact for 3 days before we sent emails, WhatsApp, and calls; we couldn't get hold of the host.

Photos were exactly the same in person. Massive plus walking into the room and not being let down. The overall experience was amazing. Was not a fan of the vanilla coffee in the room but that did not spoil the overall experience. Amazing stay. Comfortable and clean. Will book there again with no hesitation.
Raymond and Thea made a wonderful room available for us and the garden was incredibly beautiful and peaceful. I can anytime suggest this guest house to someone who needs a rest. We really enjoyed our overnight stay with them.

The place is absolutely beautiful and our host Raymond was amazing, 5 out of 5.
The accommodation itself was great, and our host was attentive. The only thing is that someone had parked their vehicle so close to the gate that my husband and I had to 'shimmy' past to get in and out. There was no hot water in the shower in the morning.
The unit at La Sal Guest House was clean and very comfortable. There was enough linen to ensure I was warm enough. Coffee, tea, etc. were provided, as well as fresh milk, which was awesome. The only suggestion is to add a plug for the hairdryer.
The bathroom light did not work but other than this it was great.

Cosy, clean and comfortable. However, there was no air-con and the room was a little warm, but opening the windows assisted. A breakfast facility would have been nice though. But otherwise, it was a nice stay for one night and the back-up electricity facility during load shedding did not go unnoticed. Thank you.

Unfortunately, we didn't get the room that we booked due to host allocating the rooms incorrectly. Found a few cockroaches in the room. Bed was nice and comfortable. However, neighbor guests had two dogs that were barking constantly which wasn't very pleasant and relaxing at all.

The place is very nice, so is the staff. I would recommend it to anyone who wants a place that is peaceful. Definitely a place to be with Valentine's season coming up.

Beautiful decor, safe and tidy overnight stay. Raymond went out of his way to safely store trailer for the night. An overnight stay that ensures that there is milk in the fridge immediately deserves an extra star, especially if one has traveled a long way and arrived late. Will definitely stay here again.

The room was clean, bedding was fresh, crisp, and better than hotel standard. There was even an electrical blanket for the chilly evening and a coffee tray freshly prepared, as well as a beautifully manicured garden, where I could do my my meditation with the backdrop of the mountain. The host, Raymond, didn't mind being called to assist and did so gracefully. This is my second time staying there and will definitely not be the last. I had the opportunity to sleep in both cottages and all I can say is great. Don't forget the breakfast. If you want solace, it's the place. I'm from Johannesburg and I'm already highly recommending the venue to family, friends and colleagues. Thank you Raymond for making my two stays at your guesthouse memorable and great.

Neat guest house with a pleasant owner. The accommodation was very neat and clean and the breakfasts were very tasty. Very nice quiet environment.
Stairs are unsafe and not suitable for elderly person, no railing. In the other guest room, there were 2 large doberman dogs with guests, which were let out in the courtyard during the day and therefore we could not move freely. Too little coffee, milk and sugar for 2 guests and the breakfast is very poor. Very nice room, modern, neat and clean. Friendly welcome from Sarah.
Everything was fantastic. I would just like to have a mirror in the room itself. And maybe a soap for the shower. The bathroom doors only have handles on the outside which makes it difficult to close them when you go to the bathroom, so I might suggest handles on the inside as well. Furthermore, als was really great, bed slept well, nice location and view too! The breakfast was out of the books, and the restaurant itself is very cute and reasonable, will definitely stop there again if we pass through Vishoek in the future.
The area is safe, quiet and peaceful. A nice place to escape to when you need to rest.
