Very sad that such a beautiful place that is so stylishly and comfortably laid out provides such poor service. Absolutely no personal touch, almost feels like you are doing them a favor to be there. No welcome, help with bags (basically stood for me and my daughter and watched us struggle with our luggage) no goodbye or thank you for visiting us? Unfortunately just people trying to get by with their day jobs. Very disappointing. Would recommend the stay but the service will make me unfortunately not come back.

Stayed in Die Laan when I was a Stellenbosch student 28 years ago. That's why I chose a place in Die Laan again - and what a surprise! John's service was perfect and the room was wonderful, everything worked (WiFi, full DStv, air conditioning etc.) and good security. Don't even have second thoughts. Book now.
Terribly very nice stay there. The place is very close to great little restaurants and shops. They go to great lengths to make their customers' lives comfortable. Car stands behind gate and does not have to stand in the road so it is very safe.
I was so impressed with all the wall plugs, more than enough and also USB ports for cellphones etc. Clever, neat lay-out for optimal use of space and tidiness.
The apartment is modern and fully equipped, however, there is no microwave oven and the airconditioning unit did not heat sufficiently.
