Laaste Gift is a spacious self-catering holiday house for up to 10 people, and is situated just a short distance from the ocean, and 1 km from the swimming beach in Betty’s Bay.
Overlooking the ocean, and with views of the mountain and surrounding fynbos. It borders a reservation area which means that no one can build on the one side.
The double-storey house comprises 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a kitchen, a dining area, a lounge and a sun room.
Located on the ground floor, are 2 bedrooms, and the large lounge. One of the bedrooms is furnished with a double bed, and the other contains a single bed, as well as a bunk bed. The rooms share the use of a bathroom with a shower and toilet. The lounge has a big dining table, and opens onto a stoep with a 6-seater outdoor dining area.
The first floor comprises of 2 en-suite bedrooms, an extra toilet, the kitchen, a dining area, the lounge and a sun room. The first bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed, as well as a three-quarter bed, and has an en-suite bathroom with a shower, a bath, and a toilet. The second bedroom opens onto a deck and contains a queen-size bed, as well as 2 three-quarter beds, and has a bathroom with a shower, a bath, and a toilet.
Guests have to bring their own towels. Bedding is provided.
The kitchen is equipped with a stove and oven, a microwave, a fridge, as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities, and a dishwasher is available for guests to use. A staircase leads from the kitchen to the outdoor braai area.
Guests can relax in the lounge which is equipped with a TV with DStv, and overlooks the surrounds.
Guests can visit the Harold Porter Botanical Garden, or the penguin colony at Stony Point, and the area offers various activities such as sandboarding, swimming, surfing, walking and hiking trails, as well as various restaurants.

Laaste Gift has a beautiful location right by the sea in a cul-de-sac. House is tidy, well furnished for a lovely, cozy stay for a large group of people. The stoep room is the jewel of the house, is so wonderfully sunny and the view is unbeatable. Our family enjoyed every moment in Last Gift! Thank you very much, we will come again!

It's right next to the sea and very quiet that you can hear the sea, would go back any time to holiday there.

Access to outdoor barbecue can be uncomfortable, was very wet at the barbecue due to water not draining correctly - can be blocked. The kitchen has all the crockery needed. Fridge and freezer facilities may be too small for a group of 12 adults.
I can tell that lots of family memories have been made in this house. Unfortunately, we had bad weather, but the lookout room provided for a relaxing weekend.
Of all the times I have booked with webtuisre I have been very unhappy with the cleanliness of this house. We must have been in the house for about an hour when we got a foul smell only to find a bin full of dirty baby wipes in the downstairs bin. Also when we got upstairs we saw that our bedding was not fresh.
We were 8 adults and 2 children aged 1 and 4. We spent a lovely time together, also safe for little ones (just blocked off the stairs). Great to also be able to use a dishwasher and ice maker! More than enough breakware, eating utensils and storage space. Beautiful view. Surprise welcome with fresh bread and chocolates! We will definitely come again.
