We are the last camp before entering the Kloof from Uniondale or Willowmore, approximately 97 km of scenic gravel roads.
Accommodation at Laaste Kamp consists of campsites, which are located in an environmentally sensitive, rough and isolated area of the Baviaanskloof wilderness. The campsite is located at the last stop, situated on the border of the western fence and is ideal for exploring the last 100km of the reserve.
The campsite has solar-powered showers that are ideal to use in the afternoon when the sun shines. There are also flush toilets and basins.
Guests have access to designated braai areas, a plunge pool, and a rock bonfire pit. The shaded areas have green grass.
The campsite is ideal for an overnight stay or a base from which to explore the last 100 km of the reserve. The Western park’s gate is approximately 1 km away.
There is no power, no reception (only MTN sometimes) and no Wi-Fi. Hot water is only available on hot days by solar.

Very nice camping at Baviaanskloof Last Camp Wild Camping. The ideal overnight stop if you are traveling from Willowmore. Start your next day early if you want to travel through the reserve. It can get quite challenging and time consuming.
Clean grassed campsite.
This was quite remote, which made the stay truly unique. Would definitely go again, but I'd make sure I'm better prepared.

Campsite is small. Close to the road so you here the vehicles from Campsite.
We found it expensive for what we got. If you are not geared with your own hot water, shower etc it would be a terrible stay. Toilet facilities were not clean. It was very peaceful and quiet though.
Wonderful campsite to spend in nature. Not a bad road to drive from Willowmore at all! Only 1 km from the reserve's gate. Peaceful and quiet, lovely cement pool to cool off in! Neat bathroom facilities! No electricity or cell phone reception, just what you need to relax!
Was everything in order and ablutions nice and close and campsite is tidy. We were the only people in the camp, so it was very nice and peaceful. Didn't actually get hot water because cloudy weather all the time.

Fires are only allowed in the braai facilities there is a high chance of unmanaged veld fire risk.
