Very nice accommodation and restaurants. Nice environment to be in.
Loved the relaxed atmosphere.
The room was very spacious. The living room comfortable. The bathroom has a shower over the bath. If I had to change anything, it would be the bathroom. Breakfast was very nice. And the staff, from the gate guard to the waitresses were all friendly, helpful and very professional. Thank you.

We had a lovely stay at Laborie Estate, it is beautiful there with the most delicious restaurants. It was just very funny for us when we had to pay for our breakfast ourselves, because Jonkershuis is advertised as a B&B, with breakfast included in the price. It also showed that way on our account statement. We informed the restaurant and reception staff about it, but they just shrugged their shoulders. Secure a nice place, will go again.
The rooms have everything you want. The view of the mountain and the vineyards is breathtaking. The new restaurant with the "Market Space" is a must even for day visitors. The wine tasting room and stoep are truly Cape and the service excellent. All the staff are friendly, efficient and extremely polite. If you are in Paarl, a visit to Laborie is a must!

Our wedding reception was at Laborie 27 years ago. Was disappointed in restaurant. Didn't eat there. Would like to enjoy "fine dining"/traditional meals more suited to estate and surroundings.
Standard dining room with impersonal breakfasts and late every morning. Carpets in room dirty and in need of attention. Environment beautiful though.

A beautiful nostalgic old fashioned atmosphere that needs to be preserved for a conservation conscious posterity. Value for money. Great relaxation in the old Cape atmosphere.

Had a wonderful overnight stay at Laborie. The reception was warm, friendly and genuine. Beautiful, quiet room overlooking one of the most beautiful vistas in the world. It's hard not to think back to the past. I would give anything to be the owner of the place! The layout and view over the vineyards and the Drakenstein valley is breathtakingly beautiful. The mansion exudes the grace of days gone by, but is comfortable. It's heritage to be proud of. I would definitely want to stay there again if I get the chance.
Laborie is a nice destination. We were a bit late with the traffic and the reception had our room keys and check-in documents ready at a friendly gate guard. The room was nice and spacious and the restaurant (Giovanis) provided a hearty meal. The breakfast was nice and the manor house is a very nice old Cape Dutch house with a long table where everyone eats breakfast together. I would have appreciated it if the rooms were that little bit cheaper, you can't bathe because of the scarcity of water. Would recommend for a family but also romantic weekend.
