11 guests' feedbackI just think that they need to upgrade the interior of the rooms, they used old furniture and need to stack the fridge with milk, cooldrinks, water and liquor that you can pay for. There was only an empty fridge.
Although we received a friendly welcome and the unit we stayed in was neat and clean, we were disappointed with our choice. The main reasons for the opinion are the fact that coffee, tea and sugar are provided, but no milk or substitute for them. The fridge was on but set to 1 so it wasn't cool and we had to wait for the fridge to get cold. The ice trays were unfilled, not that they would have provided ice if they were filled! Just two plastic "tumbler"-type glasses also leave a lot to be desired. Not that this is considered important, but prospective guests should also note the extremely limited channels on TV. No what, you don't get what you pay for, it's a shame as the place has a lot of potential. I don't think we will visit again.
Unfortunately we had guests who had a family gathering there over the same period. They barbecued every night and from the first night they left the dirty dishes on the common porch right in front of our room. Despite the fact that our room was cleaned every day, the dishes just stayed there. I'm not sure who it belongs to, but in the morning it was pleasant to sit on the porch and drink coffee. Unfortunately, this was not possible from day two. The reservation said it included bed and breakfast, but when we checked in and I inquired, I was told that it didn't include breakfast. Unfortunately, I had no proof with me and just had to accept it. I just looked again at my reservation and it does say bed and breakfast.
Anyone can come here, even just to escape the busy city-life. I recommend it. It is a nice place to relax.
The accommodation was excellent and we had a great time.
Me and my daughter attended a wedding in Bakenhof. Jan was very helpful. He allowed us to check in early. Room was clean. It rained that day and the electric blankets made our sleep nice and cozy. Thank you, Jan.

Great value for money, more than just a room, the venue is beautiful.
Booking was for 3 and we were quoted for 4. Reception is poor and there is no introduction around facilities. Braai area has been booked but not available due to the staff's family gathering. Then after their function he is available but dirty. The "snack bar" in the rooms is not replenished. Full fare and half service.
