The doors do not close properly and if they are closed, they cannot be opened. The outer doors of the balcony were a huge struggle to open and close.
We had an amazing stay at Lagoon Beach 237A. The view over the lagoon is a dream, you do have to go on the patio to enjoy the sea view. The unit has everything you need and is very clean and tidy. Unfortunately we had to listen to the loud music and company of permanent residents on the 3rd floor for 2 nights. The second night when I went to talk to security they were very helpful and the noise subsided half an hour later. Perhaps you could consider making a trolley available for luggage from the parking lot to the unit. It was quite a story to get everything upstairs and back to the car.
It was very nice. Will actually book the same unit again.
2 lounge lamps could not be turned on, and we could not get any immediate assistance in connecting to DSTV.
Noisy with restaurant below the apartment. Master bedroom does not have aircon or a fan. Loadshedding is also a problem with only 1 light working in the whole apartment. Still waiting for my "breakage fee". Already sent 2 messages to the "landlady" and still waiting for a reply.
Location is good as we had to do business in the area. Apartment building was neat and clean and security staff friendly.
The view the convenience the stay the drives the beach the unit I can go on. It was just awesome thank you its just a lekke place!
The whole apartment is very luxurious, great view. Good value for your money. I think only in the Cape summers an aircon or at least fans will make your stay that much more enjoyable. It was very hot.

The check-in procedure is totally over the top and extremely tedious. We were requested via email to download an app, provide copies of ID for all guests and fill out detailed booking forms. We did all this prior to arrival. Then on arrival, we were subjected to a 1-hour check-in procedure, where we had to do this all over again. Photographs were taken of the whole apartment - this was all very upsetting after a long journey. We travel frequently all over South Africa and this is the first time all this was required. The apartment needs to be cleaned properly prior to arrival (it was very dusty) and there were many lightbulbs not working.
Company hosting the department is efficient.

House rules
A standard key and breakage deposit is due before or at check-in. The holding amount depends on the length of stay and the standard of the apartment and may be changed at the owner’s or management’s discretion.The holding deposit is completed through a secure link with a credit card. This is merely a hold on the amount and released within 14 days after checkout if no claims were reported. If no credit card is available for the holding deposit, the deposit is payable via EFT but needs to bank and reflected in the host's account before arrival. They will then request a bank confirmation letter to process the refund back to the guest's account.
If none of the 2 options above was actioned a refundable cash or debit card payment must be made before check-in can be completed and there would be a minimum fee of R150 applicable for the processing of the refund back to your account. No cash refunds will be allowed.
No keys will be handed over without the above.
