Had a wonderful stay and would recommend it anytime.
Mel was extremely friendly and an all-around amazing host! She was great with our baba and always made sure that he was not neglected! They even provided a cot for him, at no extra cost! Mel is very knowledgeable about the town and always had recommendations of what to do, where to go, and places to eat at with specials, etc.! Was an amazing experience! LB Guest House will certainly be our accommodation of choice every time we go to Knysna!

It was a very nice place to stay, would recommend it to everyone, but the penthouse is not equipped for cooking. There is a kettle and fridge, but that's it. The grilling facilities are down on the grass on small grills, so it doesn't really feel like self-catering. Another thing is the wifi did not catch us well, I know the host said she is working on fixing it. Beyond that there was no complaint. Breakfast was amazing.
It would perhaps be a good idea if there could be a small fridge in each room. The unit also did not have a top sheet.
Right after I checked in and paid I was suddenly moved to the worst room on the premises.
We were put in a room that seems shabby and not luxury as advertised. Was just a place to sleep. Traffic noise the entire night. We couldn't use WiFi offered, signal weak and intermittent.
The little room we went to has no WiFi and only Netflix on TV. Move into another even smaller room, even smaller and no view, at least this time with WiFi! That's all. Also feel the amount per night for what you get is way too high!
Nice large house just outside Knysna, well taken care of. The room is a bit small but perfect for one night.
Very neat rooms with a sense of security. Very nice location and view, with a good breakfast. Only disappointment was that it is mentioned on the website that there are DStv channels on the TV in the twin bedroom rooms, and this was not the case.
It is conveniently next to the N2 which also causes vehicle noise. However, if you are in the room, then the noise is not disturbing. The breakfast, room and facilities were good value for money. Room neat and clean.
