Only stayed overnight en route to Cape Vidal Nature Reserve.
Received great service and the owners are very friendly. We had a good time with them and they came every morning to ask how we slept. I will definitely stay there again. The lodge is breathtakingly beautiful and the garden even more beautiful. The owner makes an awful lot of effort with the garden and to make everyone feel welcome. The hippos also walk through his garden in the evenings which is an experience.

I would highly recommend Lake St Lucia Lodge to guests visiting St Lucia. Very friendly reception by owner. Units very comfortable and tidy. Beautiful sunset view.
Warmly welcomed by Andre en he told us a lot about St Lucia and what to see where. He even booked a place on the boat for us to see hippos, and recommended a nice restaurant. We enjoyed the trip so much. Would really recommend.
A beautiful place, lovely garden, nice rondavel to sleep in and the amazing experience to see a real rhino walking through the garden. We learnt a lot about plants, trees and animals. Thanks. Hope to meet again!
A place where you feel at home. Great location.
We had a very nice stay. André was very helpful with advice and information regarding the property. The place is located in a quiet area, is well equipped and private. The bonus was of course that one night 2 hippos walked past us about 3 meters from where we were grilling on their way to graze in town. Unforgettable! Will stay there again for sure.
The place was everything I was looking for. The owners Thea and Andre are very pleasant and helpful, as is the girl who cleans. The place is neat, comfortable and well located. I would love to stay longer but will definitely go back again as soon as the opportunity presents itself.
We enjoyed our stay and our hosts, Andre and Thea, were extremely helpful. Would have preferred a double bed to two singles. The cottage was neat and clean and the grounds well kept.

All in all it was a great visit and we were looked after perfect, very flexible! Awesome chilled out time away. Many thanks for the experience. The only item I can criticize is the beds. For couple, it would be nice if there was a chalet with a double bed.
