Found my new favorite place to sleep in Knysna! Everything within reach. Units are well equipped with everything I needed. Was really a particularly nice sleepover for me!

We were received very kindly and it continued like that for the rest of our stay. I was impressed with the good secure parking. Our car was always cool and safe. Even though we were right next to the main road, it didn't bother us at all. Would stay there again anytime.

The unit was not very clean. Units need a lot of work to get them up to standard. Compared to other places rate was expensive.

We were a bit negative about what we were going to find when we get there, but was pleasantly surprised from the minute we met the owner and seeing our lovely spacious room with a lake view and crisp clean bedding etc.This is a must on our next visit to Knysna area. We would like to sincerely thank the owners for a pleasant stay where we could relax and enjoy the beautiful view. Everything was in order and very comfortable. Thank you for the friendly welcome and nice chats here and there. Will definitely make use of this guesthouse again. Everything was walking distance from the guesthouse and you could even exercise by going for long walks along the lake.

Our decision to attend the Oyster Festival and use Lakeside Accommodation for accommodation was a thoroughly good decision. The owners were always hospitable and ready to meet requests. Everything was within walking distance and consequently there was no problem with parking. When we return we will definitely stay there again and look forward to the renovation of the room we stayed in. However, the lack of daily room service was disappointing.

All that is slightly disturbing is that the main road that passes is very busy and feels like trucks are going to drive over you.
Although hosts are very friendly, accommodation was hopelessly too small and facilities not sufficient.
Pleasant stay; they can make better use of the beautiful view to the Knysna heads in advertising the accommodation. Will definitely stay there again next time.
We had a great stay in a room that was absolutely adequately equipped with everything we needed for the duration of our stay. The bed was perfect for two pensioners with bad skin. The bedding was clean and adequate for this time of year. Extra bedding was available. The morning of our departure we enjoyed a delicious breakfast on the patio outside our room. We also had a great time with Andre just before our departure. He and his wife are clearly committed to good service and we wish them many blessings with their venture!

We would recommend this Guest House to friends. Only complaint is guests upstairs can be very noisy (wooden floors).
I booked a double self catering unit which sleeps 2. I found the unit to be very small and was disappointed that there was hardly any kitchen: No sink and no place to cook! There were other 2-sleeper self catering units and these were better compared to one which I was given. If you are planning to stay here, please confirm before your arrival that you are getting the bigger 2 sleeper double unit.
Acceptable accommodation if only staying overnight. The units closest to the lagoon have high noise levels. The units away from the road are significantly quieter. Facilities are basic and in some cases impractical for a self-catering setup such as e.g. no sink for dishes.
