The beautiful unit is equipped with WiFi and Smart TV. There is an indoor barbecue for the evenings when you just want to relax at the cottage. During the 4 days we had no load shedding. I can recommend Lakeview Cottages to anyone.

Excellent location and well equipped with a beautiful view as a bonus. Delicious braai area on the enclosed porch. Our hostess, Hanneke, answered our questions all the time. Our only suggestion is to leave instructions for the gas stove, as not all visitors have knowledge of a gas stove.
The cottage met all our expectations and was very well maintained, clean and tidy. It is located close to Haenertsburg and has a breathtaking view of the Stanford Lake. The cottage is fully equipped for 4 people and a bonus is that the cottage is serviced in the morning! Safety was never a concern. There is an indoor barbecue for the evenings when you just want to relax at the cottage. I can recommend Lakeview Cottages to anyone. Definitely good value for money!
The owner did not see us with an eye, but sent a worker to receive us and showed us where we should move in for the night. The bathroom light was out of order. When I reported it, I was told she wouldn't take care of it until the next day. The shower "drain" was blocked, but we didn't report it.
Farm is perfectly located with a breathtaking view of Stanford Lake. Cottage is perfectly located. Clean, tidy, very cute. Would love to stay there!

Great overnight spot en route to Kruger.
We were warmly welcomed from the start by the man who helps run the place, who recommended us nice sights and restaurants. Our cottage was equipped with heaters, blankets, a fireplace, etc. which added to the homely feeling. We weren't very busy in the kitchen, so I can't really comment on that. A big plus for Lakeview Cottages is the incredible view of the Stanford Dam, the spacious bathroom and room and then of course a bigger TV that offers Netflix! It was a first for us and we really enjoyed it. Would definitely recommend it.
It was wonderful to stay at Lakeview Cottages. Perfect layout for a family with grown up children. The supply of firewood was wonderful for the wet weekend. Very warm bedding and the generator was turned on during loadshedding.

Our recommendations: WiFi unstable and should preferably bring own WiFi with you. Light outside master bedroom shines too bright inside bedroom. Maybe window blinds.
Visitors just need to take into account that it is a bit of dirt road.
Nature and kindness.
Difficult to enter the main road as sense of fast traffic and bends in the road obstructing visibility. Very neat walking route in Haenertsburg but difficult to follow because arrows are only indicated up to a certain point.
The unit was clean and very well appointed, with a fantastic view, and was central to a lot of tourist attractions. We enjoyed our stay thoroughly.
A place for vacation and refreshing.
It was a very nice place, just a shame it was so close to the R71. Expected it to be deeper in the woods, but otherwise it was really nice, clean and tidy. They can invest in other pillows, they were a bit overcooked.
The owners are friendly and helpful. Detail is definitely a priority for them. Even matches, newspaper, and wood are available in your chalet for the cold evenings. Will go again.

We had a great time, it's the most beautiful place with the most beautiful scenery around you. The view is fantastic and you rest so well. Everything you need is in the cottage to extra milk in the fridge. Aunt Rejeanne and Uncle Johan are very hospitable and feel just like family.

Won't mind returning with family. We'll love to experience winter in the venue because it looked very prepared. If only the second cottage had a second bedroom like the other cottage. Not really private if you have older children.
With rain falling day and night, the indoor barbecue was a welcome bonus. All the necessary equipment and facilities are in the chalet, which looks out through sliding windows to the Cloud Mountain beyond Georges Valley. Neat and well maintained. Lakeview is a wonderful place, well rested with a beautiful view. The garden is beautiful, and there is easy access to forestry trails, and patches of native forest where you can explore to your heart's content on a mountain bike or on foot.
Lakeview Cottages is one of the best equipped vacation spots we have ever been to. Large wardrobes to unpack your clothes as well as plenty of storage space in the bathroom. The view is incredibly beautiful and the garden is out of a magazine. The host and hostess were very friendly and helpful. If you want to recharge your battery, this is the ideal place to do it. Excellent service and value for money.
The directions to the cottages is wrong on your website. I did advise the owner and they will take it up with you.
Azelea is located in a beautiful garden and the view is breathtaking. Furthermore, it is extremely neat and comfortable with friendly service and very nice owners.
