Nice holiday home, very tidy and ideally located.
We were very blessed to see so much wildlife. At night we could hear the hippos and during the day the fish eagles. We also got to hear the lioness that was in the park but felt safe at all times.
We had a great time and really enjoyed our time at Lalapanzi. It is well situated and there is a lot of wildlife that comes to visit. The house is big, spacious and tidy. And it's wonderful that every room is en-suite. They also have solar and a water tank, so there is never load shedding and there is always water available. There are only two things that bother me a bit. 1) The cottage is very close to the house and it disturbs a bit, because you can hear each other talking. And if people stay in the cottage, they walk by our visiting area all the time to their car. It's not completely private. 2) The drain sometimes stinks, but at least it's not too bad. Furthermore, it is really incredibly nice to stay there.

The kindness, helpfulness of Andre and Gerda. All the animals we visited every day. The silence and tranquility of the forest. We were sad when our time at Lakapanzi was over. We will definitely come again!
Our visit to Lalapanzi and Baobab Cottage was definitely one for the books! Place is extremely beautiful and clean. I got a message from the owner on my birthday. It was special! Uncle Andre kept us informed of where our Lions etc. could get to see! Thank you for an unforgettable fun weekend! We will definitely book there again!
The bedroom with the single beds had 2 hand towels to use for showering, and so did the person sleeping on the sleeper couch. Lovely place - will recommend it and visit again.

The house is underrated on internet. The house really beautiful live. The downside about the house is the boma or braai area it's too far from the main house and closer to the cottage. When sitting there you make noise for the cottage guys which is unfair and makes it uncomfortable for guest at main house to relax.

Everything you need and more was available. The house is beautifully furnished and decorated. The air conditioning and pool were especially enjoyable in the bloody December heat. All criticism I can make is that I booked for 7 adults and the seventh person had to sleep and live on the lounge sofa for 4 days. It was not the ideal situation. Otherwise, our stay can only be described as fantastic. Thank you very much.
Owner will just have to watch for bats that have made home in upper floor. And cleaning service that was suggested was not as good as expected, but because they are older people, you feel too bad to say anything. But it's not supposed to be like that! You pay for a service after all. Other than that it was amazing and we all really enjoyed it!

Ideal for a family of 2 adults and 2 children, we were 4 adults and 2 of us had to sleep on a sleeper couch, not very comfortable.
We were very wary because of the stories out there and then all the warnings that the owner as well as the security company gave us.
The place was beautiful. Every bedroom was en-suite. It was very tidy. The kitchen had all appliances, there was a gas braai and a nice boma area and pool was warm.

Would recommend Lalapanzi to anyone looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Accommodation is very neat and clean. Very peaceful in nature.
We had a great time and the night sounds made us sit on the porch for hours and just listen. The owner made it as easy as possible for us to pick up the key and made sure we were comfortable and okay with everything. Our children are now growing up and would rather book the house instead of the cottage next time.
Very neat place with comfortable large rooms. Owner is very friendly and helpful. Nice pool to cool off and the whole house has air conditioning. Very close to the Kruger National Park. TV with DStv to keep the kids busy. Will definitely visit the place again.
