We enjoyed and appreciated the fantastic view. But what made the stay extra special was the care and attention of the hostess. Breakfast was lovely.
I was extremely impressed with the service provided by the host and her staff. She was so helpful with our special needs and went above and beyond to accommodate us. The place is serene, and the amenities had all the "creature comforts": heated bathroom floor and towel rail, etc. The breakfasts, which were included, were lovely, and again, the team took the time and made the effort to accommodate our needs. The accommodation is wonderful. The view is fantastic. The environment is so peaceful. Children had fun playing and exploring in the forest. A glass of wine on the deck while you look out over Gordons Bay's lights and the sea ends every evening deliciously. Thanks to Rose for her fantastic customer service. House is comfortably furnished with quality furniture.

Lalapanzi is a special place with a very good location. The Lodge is very well equipped and our hostess Rose was excellent! The only thing we missed was air conditioning, as it was extremely hot and there was no air conditioning in the lodge. One would expect a 4 star lodge to have air conditioning.
Wow! We were amazed. The lodge was absolutely beautiful and so much attention to detail. Rose and her staff went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant. Can highly recommend this lodge to anyone!
That log cabin in the pine forest!
The lodge is in the Wedderwill Estate, which is also incredibly beautiful. It was a few cold days when we were there, but the house has enough heating systems so it was very cozy.
Beautiful location close to False Bay with a fantastic view and facilities.
Hostess and chef was very friendly and accommodating. Rooms are clean and neat. Food was absolutely lovely.
Wonderful experience! Was pleasantly surprised! Well set up for winter! The cottage is private and well appointed with the best view!

Lodge is very well located and the service was very good.
From arrival to departure, our 2-night stay was very pleasant in the calm and beautiful guest house in the mountain. Breakfast was very tasty and plentiful, with a view over Strand and Gordons Bay. Our room was spacious and tidy, with a nice bath and large walk-in shower. Dinner can be ordered in advance and is definitely worth enjoying with a sunset over the sea. The staff were very nice and helpful and made us feel very welcome. Enjoy a leisurely walk through the plantation and vineyards, and forget about the stress. Thank you, Rose, for the warm welcome and, Danie, for the good food.
Close to the city but ideal location so that it feels secluded. We go great rest.
It is a very beautiful location in the mountain between many trees and nature. If you just want to get away from the city, this would be a very good choice.
