Lamon is well located in a quiet area. Rooms are tastefully furnished and clean. Guests are received personally by the owner who makes one feel at home.
Elana's hospitality was top notch. We had to drive early for a sports day and couldn't stay for breakfast. The staff made us the most delicious breakfast packs - big enough for us to snack on all day. We will definitely stay there again.

Everything we needed for the night.
We were pretty much spoiled with special attention from the manager, Elana. It's a beautiful place, with more than adequate facilities and a very tasty meal for breakfast. They even went out of their way to accommodate us with an earlier meal to see to our needs. I would definitely recommend staying here and I will for sure stay here myself in the future.
Very professional and had LED light for loadshedding and WiFi for 2 hours during loadshedding.
Elana was very friendly and despite a misunderstanding on her part upon our arrival we had a nice stay. The guest house is very neat with nice decor, but small things need attention. The shower is not closed, and after a shower the whole bathroom as well as the toilet are wet. Our room's door lock was broken, so we slept with an open door - feeling a bit unsafe in a strange town, strange area, with an open door. Only 1 bed has a plug by the bedside table, so you have to charge your phone walking distance away during the night. Only one of our two rooms had an air conditioner in it. And of course load shedding is also a big problem that everyone experiences - that's now except the guys with solar power.

The concept of an open shower in Suite 7 does not work. The whole floor is soaking wet after taking a shower. Glass panels and a door must be inserted. There was also an item on the wall that "beeped" the whole time. It would also be good if the door between the two bedrooms could be more solid and provide more privacy.
Was only for quick overnight stay. Russel was friendly and very helpful. Just think you should put all costs on the web and not just the room.
Place was a bit dusty and pillow case torn. Although they apologized for it - I feel it shouldn't happen.
The entrance to each room is beautiful and wonderfully private. The rooms are clean and well equipped. The garden and outdoor seating is beautiful. Only the breakfast was a bit of a disappointment.

On our way to Sutherland from Limpopo we spent one night at Lamon Gastehuis. I was looking for accommodation that could accommodate our late arrival. Everything was perfect upon our arrival and a big plus was that our bed heaters had already been switched on before our arrival, which ensured a warm night's rest. Very clean, very tidy, nice breakfast. Everything was perfect! Would recommend Lamon Guesthouse anytime and stay there again anytime!
Lamon guest house is a beautiful guest house that really makes you feel at home as soon as you step inside. Elana and her staff went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and satisfied. I would recommend the gem in Kroonstad to anyone for sure.
